the great thing about this drama is that it has an actually capable intelligent fl and a twisted but sweet ml lol it was refreshing. i was pleasantly surprised by how the main leads had complex personalities and their relationship arc was also well written, original and had depth, and well-acted too. but the villain was pretty obvious all along
I've watched many dating shows and this one is the best!
Nanami x Kensuke are too cute! Might be my favorite pair in a dating show lol
Fate seems to be a theme in this show but it turned out that choice is more important than fate. Like, if you look at the poster above, the men and women shown side by side are those who 1st met each other by chance. But all the successful couples happened because of their own choices and preferences.
Late to the game and binge watching. Understand the need for drama and ratings, but donβt like the reunion couples…
what dick move, william wasn't taking bomi's chance at all? that day the truck wasn't assigned to anyone, whoever wanted it the most would get it, jobu bomi gave up. at that time bomi and huwei hadn't developed feelings, you can see their talk the next day after they run the truck, episode 8. bomi only asks huwei what he's feeling, huwei replies that he doesn't like anyone and hasn't sorted his feelings yet. so it went nowhere, and it's not right to say bomi needed it more, it wasn't urgent. as for william, he remembered that lake mentioned on their earlier coffee truck shift and made it their special place by confessing there after another shift together, which is pretty romantic
Hyunji - Baekhyun (he kept hinting he'd pick Yooshik for his ex, she said her ex would be the one who didn't cry for her letter intro. and his ex can't be any of the other girls)
Yunnyeong - Wonkyu (seem like they'd get along since they have a fun side, yet they avoid eo, until that ointment situation. all the stuff from/about their exes also strangely match. they probably had a thing for couple items- the ring and the hoodie which he said his ex couldn't buy another)
Jiyeon - Woojin (like YN-WK, i can see them being exes, or if not, have some interest in eo, but they too avoid eo)
I haven't seen such a fun and relaxing drama in a long time~ The way it never takes itself seriously made it very enjoyable and I adore all the ridiculously funny characters lol. I think this is an example of a live-action that adapted the original well, like they've done their best to respect the original. And it came together pretty nicely in the end, going full circle π
Lol it's really fun π they've done a good job restoring scenes from the anime, all the characters are adorkable I love them! and Shen Yue is so cute and smol here lol
Finally after 4 long years π iqiyi holding back dramas for absolutely no reason smh they probably released it now because the cast are popular with their variety show Joyful grown-ups
She's the foil character to FL, her role is to highlight FL's strengths and be a comic relief (you can see how…
Idk if they care about international side but it's that the character Qinlan is popular with the general public there so if they gave more to her role, they'd have to make her 2nd FL
And yeah they were praising Yue's portrayal and her suitability for the role, praising her micro expressions and screen presence and stuff
Is Qui lan going to finally be relevant to the story? I mean we are passed the 1/2 mark and still nothing from…
She's the foil character to FL, her role is to highlight FL's strengths and be a comic relief (you can see how they're foils by how she and FL have contrasting personalities and looks, wear complementary colors green vs purple and how she's literally always hyping FL, that's the main role the scriptwriters gave her lol) In the original she connects this arc to Red moon pact arc through her son Yuechu, what she tells him i think, but idk if these writers will make her a story driver even then. Fans of the original work also said Qinlan should have a bigger role but this script writing is kinda weak, but still she's one of their favorites and Yue's portrayal is one they approved of the most. Qinlan's pretty popular cause she's cute and brings in the fun so if they made her do more action she'd probably be too popular than they'd like and would have to be 2nd FL, which the production didn't want ig
There were videos fans took of her and Zhao Yibo filming scenes together, and they've also taken private photos…
Yeah I saw that too but then why did they film scenes together, it looked pretty cute too, cmiiw I think it was him giving her a flower or something? Maybe it's just friendship? If they do have a little something I really hope they don't make it sad and just have Li Quzhou change his name to Bai Luo π
YueYue look so different and more pretty here Is this picture is older DongFangQinlan
Yes I think it's a time when she's missing her jiejie that's why she's dressed like Huaizhu and looks calm and gentle like her but also kinda sad? π

Jihyun - her ex isn't here yet
