I've never seen anything get so close to real life theories about UFO/aliens and cults. It got so crazy by the episode that made it fun. All the while you're questioning reality. Hands down my favourite on the genre.
And I couldn't ask for better mains. They're eccentric but unstereotypical with curiosity that drives the story. The childhood friendship is relatable and feels like a coming-of-age. Also, lowkey gay representation. This is the best acting I've seen of Jeon Yeobin, she did so well in this role.
This is brilliant!! It's so very well written and produced and fresh I love it SO MUCH. It's been a while a series got me this excited lol. Love the characterization especially the two leads. Deserves higher ratings!π½β€
The friend's family told Xiang Zhi she should have died instead- they were grieving but they should have apologised to her later! XZ thinks it's her fault her bestie died. Then the bullying. There's like no consolation for her trauma in this movie except for a single line from Xiao Nan saying it's not her fault. The guy got amnesia but she remembered everything, took the brunt of it all and received no proper healing by the end wtf.
I believe it was Jinmu who taught Naksu. And she trained in Danhyanggok
Not sure if I remember this right- when she was assasin Naksu, Jinmu didn't show her his face right? Doesn't she find out who he is after she became Mudeok? Could he have taught her so many skills without showing his face?
No it was never fully said but we(fans) think it was Jin Mu who taught her to fight and she more or less stumbled…

Episode 20 preview- It seems Jinmu/shaman choi could've programmed Naksu to be under their control using bells? And Jinmu controls Mudeok with bells again? Does he find out she's Naksu π₯²

Maybe the same people who dived to save Mudeok in the lake somehow saved Naksu's old body too.
