Tropes = repetitive plot devices/ character types/ themes/events that have appeared in countless dramas & movies before, so they make the story predictable, cliché, unoriginal and cheap. Well-written high quality stories don't have tropes.
It would've been cuter & better if: 1. the BFFs of the main leads continued the second couple plot instead of that last minute love triangle plot 2. the main leads' story is way too slow paced for 30 episodes so it became boring 3. closure for the side characters! only the main leads got closure so it's like the side characters didn't matter at all
I watched this to see Shen Yue tbh and was pleasantly surprised. It was interesting to get to know the contestants, see them approach their crushes and figure themselves out. The panel gave really good insights and dating tips and they were the funniest panel ever lol. I learned more about Shen Yue too, she's super funny, insightful and had good reactions (and she's so beautiful damn). I wish they showed the contestants reacting to the panel's reaction of them lmao. Overall I enjoyed watching them and reacting with the panel 😆 My fav cp: 🍁
Wu Lei is a perfect actor for this,but I am not familiar with the FL! Anyone? But if she didn't play complex roles…
She's also a child actor like Wu Lei and they appeared together in dramas as kids I think. If you google their names you get lots of pics of them together as kids. It would be pretty cute if they star as main leads together now that they've grown up
IG king and queen Shen Yue x Lin Yi they're already good friends and have that cute height difference. Lin Yi had auditioned for ALSB so it'll be nice if he can finally become her ML
Amazing drama!! Love it. My only frustration is that the 5-year breakup was so angsty that the wrap up felt too quick and not completely satisfying... A couple more final episodes for their married life and how they learned from their mistakes to work better together as a couple, would've been perfect. I heard the novel has their married life, they should've added a bit of that to the drama too!
Kim Taeri is a gem! All of her past and present performances have been top-notch and she knows how to pick good projects. I never watch horror but I tuned into this one because of her and it's a really good show in every aspect

I'm not a fan of either of them lmao you can go to Lists on my profile to see the list of people I'm a fan of. 😂 BTW i didn't know this was a teenage role? The description says "powerful warrior" so I thought it's more suitable for a 30s actor to portay the depth of such a character well, that's why i thought those 2 actors fit lmao but how come it's a teenager? And also now that you mentioned age they don't look old at all lol and cdramas usually cast actors older than the role eg. Yangmi in Yuehong, Dilireba in Long Ballad etc it's more important for them to have a big star who acts well to be the main lead
