Watching Premier Kim and his cohorts go down will be oh so satisfying, after all the trouble they're causing. I'm just happy they saw each other, now I'mma freak out about their safety. Also, mysterious man in the hat!!! Is Ra On's dad alive? I've been feeling that he is for awhile now!!

OMG. The genuine human emotion and love Ra On and Lee Yeong are giving us. Just reading the title of the ep "Tenderly Goodbye" ripped me apart. When she was watching him sleep, I was in tears and my insides were in a knot. When he found out about her being the daughter, and everything went radio silent, that CUT ME UP. Also, thank you to the best friends for protecting her. I am PRAYING Kim Hyung does something to reassure Lee Yeong. IT IS NOT FAIR. I hope he is more worried for her than he is feeling betrayed or wary. PLEASE DON'T QUESTION THE TRUTH OF IT ALL. BECAUSE U GUYS ARE THE DEFINITION OF TRUTH. She didn't know huhuhuhu. Speaking of not knowing, HUHUHUHU when Ra On tells her mom Lee Yeong knows nothing and is waiting for her. DAMN. we're not even a minute in and you guys are just pulling me apart. WHEN SHE PREPARED THE BOOKS TOO. AND HE WAS ALL Y I NEED TO KNOW DIS?! AAAARRRGGGGHHHH.

Thankful for the light moments between Master Jung and the Princess. I needed that. Anyway, let's all clutch guys!!! Our OTP will break down any wall! I BELIEVE!!!

Same. I was an eternal spring of tears. Court Lady Oh, is such a great character. I feel for Soo, all her maternal figures die.

OH MY GOSH!!! Episode 12 was amazing! The suspense, the romance, it was fireworks everywhere! The entire time I was watching it I felt like someone had my heart in their hand and they were squeezing it, and wringing my stomach. I was so stressed out, but seeing them triumph over adversity is beautiful!!!!!!!! I'm so aliiiiiiive!

THE FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN THE THREE GUYS TOO! Like OMG BROOOOOOS 4 LYF. I love you all, keep doing' u!!!! I love how much trust is building between all the characters!!! So reliable!

Also I've been very vocal about Yoon Sung not getting in the way of the OTP. But the lengths he is going to keep her safe and protect her. I give you credit Yoon Sung! CLAPS FOR U!

Ikr. Talk about Scarlet Heart on the Scarlet Heat page. I watch both and enjoy both. I wouldn't even compare them. They literally have nothing in common except for the historical setting.

LOOOOOOOVE. What a gem of a movie! Japanese culture is thriving and beautiful in this film!

We need to stop subjecting every single drama to the standard of uniqueness and unpredictability. There are other dramas built for that kind of expectation. While I agree that there should always be something to make a drama distinct and different in its own right, that does not mean that CLASSIC storylines (for emphasis not anger) are boring and worthless exploring. People love timeless plots like the "cinderella story" or the "friends/enemies to lovers story." While the structure is all the same, it's always fun to see how it goes from point A to B.

Not trying to discredit anyone's opinion. Just wanted to give the other side of the story. More and more I see comments bashing dramas for predictability and "same old same old" comments. Classics are classics and innovations are innovations. Classics may be innovated, but there's nothing wrong with sticking to a time-tested formula people enjoy.

WHAT A CLIFFHANGER! I was so nervous. I love how dependable Lee Yeong is! We can count on him to always show up, albeit in the last possible moment! Like when Ra On sprained her ankle and he told her to wait without budging, I was like oh man!!! it's never good when the guy says wait because they ALWAYS forget and it becomes this pile of hurt feels. BUT in true Lee Yeong fashion, he shows up before it's too late and salvages the situation! Then again at the meeting place at the gate. Head Eunuch shows up and I'm like AHHHH this is it, she'll be taken, abducted, kidnapped! NOT! Because suddenly Lee Yeong's behind you, saving the day in the nick of time! Head Eunuch must've been like DAMNIIIIIIT!

I can't breathe!! And how appropriate that Ra On who dances so well teaches the young princes to communicate with hand gestures. Lee Yeong's confession was so much more heartfelt without words. HUHUHU and the end was like I'M ALIIIIVE but U KILLING ME TOO HUHUHU

I remember after the pilot, the rating was low. Like an 8.5, I think. I was like GASP what injustice! Now week after week it's gone up to an 8.8, hopefully we'll be in the 9s at the end!

After Ep 8 just kept thinking how the pace of the story is so great! Doesn't drag and delay, keeps moving, and yet it's all so natural with nice little breaks spent with Lee Yeong's smile and sweet moments with Ra On. Going to sit in front of clock and rot away til Monday (Tuesday for me haha subs).

Well to be fair, this kiss is already more true than some other super fake drama kisses. It wasn't a full on frencher but EVEN THE FEELINGS WERE FEELING FEELINGS. I'm satisfied!

THAT SMILE BEFORE KISSING HER. Like relief "thank god she loves me too" and joy "SHE WANTS ME BACK!!!" and nervous jitters and butterflies all rolled into one!

Episode 7 made me so so so so so so happy. I have no coherent thoughts. Just YEAH YEAH YEAH WIN WIN WIN I'M DED DON'T TALK TO ME WOOOOO *dance dance* *scream scream* Sending high-5s to the world! WOOOOOOO!

YES. Omg, in the opening scene after he tells her he sees a woman in her, he gives a little twitch in his eyes, and i was like wow he gives attention to detail in his acting!

"AAAARRRGGGGHHHH" when lantern girl was being annoying in the palace
"HEHEHEHE" when Lee Yeong was diagnosed with widow's disease
"KYAAAAAA" when he was talking about how angry he is/ day dreaming about Ra On
"HUHUHUHU KYAAAAA LUV U GUYS" when they were in the jail cell together
" HUHUHUHU OMG HUHUHUHU PLS" when he came to untie Ra On and all moments where he was her knight in shining Korean silk

I'm like Sebastian the lobster in The Little Mermaid just sing-begging him to kiss the girl.

Also, I love Princess Myun. She is BEST.

Oh and WHERE ARE THE PREVIEWS. I'm tired and dead now.

Reactions of a deeply invested person watching this drama going crazy:
1. I love Lee Yeong, I'm so happy he's figuring things out quickly and already has an inkling that Ra On's a woman
2. I got my wish early on, the why is he staring at me like that scenes are killing me
3. Girl buying lanterns in the market, I already hate you. Seriously, we have enough problems as it is, we don't need you getting in the way of this OTP
4. Second male lead, I like you, but go away. Please.
5. Lee Yeong x Ra On seriously perfect match made in heaven ain't no stopping you guys, hate anyone who tries srsly, fall off the face of this drama rivals

Oops, I was spewing out feelings so I didn't realise I sound like a prude. I know infidelity was the norm in history. What I should've conveyed is in this context it troubles me that a) he's married and in the first few episodes the relationship between 8th prince and Lady Hae was portrayed so lovingly; b) Lady Hae is like a mother and family to Soo; and c) Soo is from the modern era and her boyfriend cheated on her with her friend so I think it's ironic how she was talking to lady Hae about it and now it's happening. I have no problem with the King and his 2 wives, or the 4th prince being later married. I get it comes with the territory. Just the context of 8th prince and Soo. Kinda like the Boleyn sisters with Henry VIII. That kind of betrayal.

My feelings are going crazy. I love 8th prince, but omg man your are married!!! Like they honestly work as a couple, but omg you are married!!! I know like he isn't the main lead, and that the story will work to bring 4th prince and Soo together, but for now I am freaking out because I feel so disturbed. Cannot deny the chemistry, but also poor sick wife!!!

I really enjoyed watching the kiss scene in the car. Not because it's a kiss scene, we've had plenty. More because I love slice of life, and the whole talking about it and getting consent felt true.

Soo Bong continues to be adorable. Again, I'm wondering how Chul will stay in the real world. In Ep 12 he was able to stay because he resumed his role as a protagonist. How will things pan out when there is no protagonist to play because W is coming to a close?

Yeah, I have nothing against the second male lead. Just I don't have time for him to be hiding her from Lee Yeong right now. I hope it doesn't take half the drama to sort out the romance, because I could spend so much of the episodes watching them happy together. Also they have a lot of things to overcome as a couple.
