I really enjoy watching this show! I really thought this is a regular show, didn't know this will only have 20 episodes. 😠Hope they return for Season 2!
This is one fun article! I think it captured the whole kdrama community perfectly hahaha.
Out of the types, I'm definitely a current airing watcher but with a mixture of almost every other types (especially, multifandom because it's just so cool to collect oppars and unnirs lol) except spoiler alert, newbie, true blood fans and related by drama (mainly because I don't interact much with other kdrama fans). Personally, I like watching on-air since I could remember details better, as I like analyzing scenes after the episode airing.
I was hoping this was more on the Avengers Social Club side rather than High Class, but from the first episode…
Agree, but it's just first episode so anything could still happen. Hope the moms would somehow be friends after a few episodes (despite their impending issues with each other lol).
oh jun se as a lead......and 8.1 RATING ?. Let me guess....an underrated Drama!
Personally, acting-wise, all cast members did really great. I even think the casting is perfect. But plot-wise, it's great in the beginning but it became boring and dragging in the middle of the series.
Tbh, this movie just left me confuse at the end. I get it on Youngho's POV why his ending's like that but on Sohee's POV, it feels like they can't think of anything.
Kinda tempted to start but I really just wanna see LSY playing the good character ML for once. Why is he always…
If you wanna see LSY play a good character, try watching Once Again! He's character there is lovable actually. I really enjoy him there lol. But agree with other user, his character here isn't really your typical villain.
Thank you for this. While I'm familiar with Meteor Garden, Fated to Love You and It Started with a Kiss, as I grew up watching those in our television (those dramas were so big in our country back then), SOOD is what I considered my first proper venture to Taiwanese dramas and I'm really glad I pick that up. Will try looking for those other dramas, especially the second one. :)
As Bong Joon Ho has said, she's been acting for like 50 years already and has the skills, competency and excellence as an actor. It's just that the projects she's been on aren't targeting Oscars, that's why the Academy just recognized her this late. She deserves it.
And I always like her "ahjumma" attitude. It's refreshing to hear her speeches, especially from yesterday and that one from BAFTA.
I really don’t quite get it. Lee Sang Yoon left All the Butlers/Master in the House to focus on his acting career…
Probably it's on the production side? Like, the ratings for MITH before the cast changes wasn't that good so probably it's SBS' decision to remove him on the show? Thou, personally, I think he's one of the reason why MITH is such as good show.
Also, I read he was injured during Handsome Tigers so probably he took a break for healing. But then, hope he come back soon with new drama project.
Gong Hyo Jin should've won that Daesang.. Also Drama of the Year, Itaewon Class, I mean REALLY? Neither based…
Actually, all other nominees especially GHJ and KHA have killed it last year so weird to see them not winning it. (No offense with Hyun Bin thou, I know he's a great actor.)
But well, APAN Star Awards had the reputation as a popularity awards so there's no surprised there.
It's weird to see Lee Sun Kyun in a saeguk setting, especially since the way he act here is similar to the way he acts in his other dramas. But, he and Ahn Jae Hong entertained me all throughout the show so the whole movie did worked out for me.
OMG I've watched every single drama in this post and yes people, I'm telling you, all of it are worth watching. You don't have any choice but to root for everyone. :)
Me too. I still haven't watched any episode from the new cast members, as I still can't get used to it. To me, the four OG casts really made this show so good.

Hope there's season 2, although not something related to renovating since the guys already went through a lot of hardship. 😆
