I may decide down the road when there is nothing else to watch to give it another try. However.... at this time, I just can't seem to go back to a drama that I couldn't connect to any of the characters. Maybe, I'm not understanding where it's going. Yet it could also me... I'm tired of demon hunting dramas... Heck, I don't know... but for now. I'll put it aside and maybe 1 day ... I'll be back. it may be great for many.,.. but maybe it's the characters in the script that could have put this old lady to be turn off. I'm not saying that the acting is bad, I may have misspoke... I just think it's the type of script that wasn't my cup of tea. Plus ... I'm one old lady that isn't easy to please when it comes to certain genre's. I got spoiled from past C-dramas ... and they in my personal opinion, seem to be tapering off a bit as far as quality. I'm glad to know that the drama is taking off. tried so hard to continue to watch this drama because of the Main Actor Ren. However.... due to the quality of acting by other cast members.... I couldn't hold onto the drama after the 11th ep.
🌹Let me be a little more clear... due to a comment that made me aware. This may be a great drama for many out there. However, I may have misspoken. It doesn't mean the quality of the acting ... but more along the lines of the type of genre or script was not appealing for me to continue watching it. If I don't feel a connection ... why waste valuable hours of my viewing time to a drama that isn't pulling me into the story? (Thank you VickD for bringing that to my attention)

5/10 cute. couldn't really give that full attention to the storyline. Just a bit more interesting ... after he found out what was going on. Really didn't feel any chemistry in either couple. However, it's a cute drama.

I wouldn't really call it a breakup, but a young man that wants to better his position to hold on to the one he loves. if you want to know when they start dating... best advice is to give it a watch. It's a cute drama & out of the box storyline.

I've added the Eat, Run, Love. As for Lighter & Princess... didn't win me over and I ended up dropping the drama after watching over 11 eps., It just didn't grab my fancy. I couldn't feel chemistry. I haven't been able to find a drama that all eps are out... so I'm rewatching (WTPR) When The Phone Rings. One of my fav's!!! 😉 btw, I did read your review on the TFF drama. I agree with your outlook on how the story can affect the heart. However, I can't give a perfect score when .. a lot of the focus steered into grandpa & the 2nd male leads past etc. I started skipping through as well.. and when a drama gets to that point, it's really take away from the main points of the drama. I never cried so much .. knowing that she had finally opened her heart to release all that toxic energy that was embedded in her throughout all those years. Plus having the strength to let go of a toxic uncaring person that was supposed to protect her during her childhood. Been there & can relate. It was an amazing drama. Now... trying to find another one to watch.... that will hopefully grab my heart strings. Take Care Twinty... stay Healthy & AMAZING!!!!
EXCELLENT Drama... 9/10 personal rating Honestly.. it was a bit boring with the whole story of grandpa etc, which had me not give it that perfect rating. I wanted to focus strictly more on the main couple, but it seemed as if the writer was trying to have two main couples. Which in my personal opinion ... could have done without most of the 2nd couple's grandpa story. would I recommend this ... YES.. 100% Would I rewatch this... well that takes about an 75% pull
Yes Yes Yes... and Hidden Love is one of my Top 3 Favorite contemporary of that year 2023. I don't know why she didn't care for it... and nit picked everything... I fell in love with it & have re-watched Hidden Love 3x's already😉. I like the way the writer puts in little hints of comedy between the couples. This is what makes it refreshing. Although I may not agree with my youtubers review... it's only her opinion & honestly... I don't feel it proper to tell her viewers NOT to watch it. She should approach it in a more respectable way to the viewers ... by saying... " I won't tell you to NOT watch it... but recommend to maybe watch a few episodes & decide to continue to drop it. We all have our difference of opinions & flavors." I will still watch her reviews (I enjoy her opinion) .. but at the end of the day, I will be the one to decide by walking into the drama with my eyes wide open.
I'm currently watching your recommendation TFF 😚. On episode 6 and thoroughly enjoying it so far. There is a YouTuber that reviews Chinese dramas and rates them... she apparently has been telling her followers if they haven't started watching this ... she recommends *Not to watch it*. I'm glad I took my own path and followed my thoughts. She never went into a reason why, because it was only in passing before signing off that she mentioned this drama and that she will do a review on it later. I'm definitely picky... but not just because the lighting or how the camera moves, or the clothing isn't right... etc. I'm more interested and fussy about the acting in general & if the pairing has good/cute or Amazing chemistry. I'm not too familiar with the young leading lady, but ... Honestly... she's a cutie & I love the interaction with them both. I know of the young man.. which he always seems to draw me into his character. So... for now ... this drama is riding on the coat tails of 9/10. Things may change down the road... but so far ... I really don't have any complaints. This drama touches on a lot of issues that young women carry deep down, whether it's in fear or shame... or just because they feel they are to blame for whatever negativity comes their way. I was once upon a time one of these young ladies. So.. No matter how much your loved one try to figure out *Why* ... that feeling of being alone with the troubles that you face will be hard to release. I guess, this is why I am enjoying the watch.. because... I relate. Anyway... Thank you so much *TWINTY*. Continue to stay Healthy & Amazing!!!
