Shocking reading the comments ... NEGATIVE comments that is.
A Drama I would Recommend !!!I'm a pretty fricking picky old lady with it comes to dramas and honestly.... I've stayed away from Korean dramas due to the fact ... the screen play would majorly suck .... OR... the pairing or actors failed miserably to pull me into their drama world.
HOWEVER..... This drama was interesting to say the least ... although I couldn't understand why someone in a very important political position was running around and doing idiotic things without bodyguards or police. YET.... that is what caught my full attention ... WHY? Because, what's boring is to see the same old script of an important political figure is being threatened & right away... here comes the calvary to protect him.
In the drama ... he pulls all the punches with who he trusted as his side kick. He took all the brunt that this crazy man pulled on him ... and then the so-called wife ........WOW!!! She's one hell of an actress.... sign language is not an easy language to learn, and to blend in the acting of being mute is a whole different ball game. Bravo to Chae Soo Bin for doing an excellent job. I'm really truly not familiar with either of the main leads, and I'm 100% happy for having the pleasure to watch them in this drama. I'll keep my eye out for these two actors in the future or maybe I'll look at their list of dramas and check them out.
As for the negative comments that I've read ... Well .... Isn't it wonderful that we are all loving different flavors. Life would be so Boring if I like or didn't like everything others did.
As for myself... personally ... I've already watched this drama twice & I will probably come back and watch it again ........ that's why I felt it deserved a HARD TEN 🔥. It's the first K-drama that I've been pleased with since 2017 (Suspicious Partner) That I could comfortably give a TEN Personal Rating.

Soft beginning... Intense Middle... and the last two eps.... well .... Nummy & Sweet

Wow... I was excited to watch this.. until I heard the Lead females voice is NOT hers. I don't know why they had a voice actress for her.. she has a nice voice & shouldn't need one. Oh well... on to another drama

I haven't watched a K-Historical drama for a long time... I believe the last Korean historical drama I watched was ***Under the Queens Umbrella***, so it's been a good minute.
HOWEVER.. this drama is underrated in my personal opinion & I'm one hell of a picky old lady.
This had my emotions all over the place... and at the end... Tears Flowed from realizing how much the King truly Loved her.. when throughout I have to say... he was a jerk toward her after the other woman came into play.
This drama needs more views and better ratings.

First things I thought of was... the front cover looks exactly like the ***Goblin*** cover, with the girl leaning on the guy & the clouds in the background... 🤣🤣🤣

Watched 10 eps and 10 eps of wasted my viewing time.
I had high hopes for this... well.. not that high. However, whoever wrote this drama.. needs to go back to the drawing board!!!
I don't know what in the hell I watched... but it was disappointing... unfortunately!!!

Wow... really. That is very sad, considering .... beauty has Nothing to Do with Talent. I find a lot of Beautiful Asian women & Handsome Asian Men, who have both talent and Excellent Looks & those who only have One of the two. However, I'm really keen on the Talent, because only talent can make or break the viewers drama pleasure. If people focus only on beauty ... well, that is a very sad way to enjoy a drama 🤣.

Thank you for your recommendation. However, I've been watching Chinese drama's since as early as 2004 .. I'd even go to the library to rent out drama back in the early days before computers 🤭. So, you can say this 69 year old lady is a Chinese Costume Historical drama fan. If I had to choose watching american or Chinese..........I'll pick Chinese 100% due to the quality & respect they have for all audiences young and old when it comes to language & sexual content.
I believe the very first Chinese drama I watched was *Return of the Condor Heroes* which had one of my favorite actresses Crystal Liu. Since then... you couldn't tear me away from Chinese dramas. I will admit that I've gotten a lot picker about what I watch and do seem to drop dramas that are highly rated. One especially being TTEOM. The male lead in TTEOM I highly respect, but I don't know what pulled me away from TTEOM, but it just didn't keep my full attention.
I will definitely take into consideration your recommendation on this drama The Blossoming Love & watch it with fingers crossed.

Oh... ok.. Unfortunately TTEOTM I dropped after getting not even halfway through. Which was upsetting since the ML is one of my favorite actors that I follow his dramas a lot. However, I think I had to high of hope and dropped it. Although this young actress was in it as a 2nd lead... I really can't recall her at all. Yet.. with the other comments I'm getting... I'll keep it on my list and watch it once all eps are in. Thank you so much for educating me on TTEOTM meaning.

Last time I enjoyed AngelaBaby's work was in the *Generals & I* & also *Twilight*. I know she came out with others, but to be honest... wasn't impressed with either the script, production or just the acting... and ended up dropping.
However, this looks promising, she shines with a strong Leading man... crossing my fingers.

OMG... I don't know how to put this. I haven't started watching this drama yet.. because I'm a binge watcher.
HOWEVER.......... watching the preview vids, has me doubting myself to keep it in my *WATCH* list.
Is this a comedy historical drama... again one of those... it's a game and sucks the player in OR... a story she is writing for a drama and gets pulled into the script???
Either ... OR... this has me on the fence to keep it. Plus ... I've never seen this actress who is playing the lead before, which is also concerning! Will they have that chemistry???? Watching the review, I didn't see it.. just a girl acting giddy over the guy 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Waste of Powerful casts.... and it may not get released due to a law suit between the ML Zhang & his father who is the director & producer? I'm sure it's all too complicated for me to understand. Laws regarding the Drama industry there is something that no one would understand unless.. they follow closely & understand the situation and the laws of China Drama industry.
It's just truly unfortunate that all the hard work of the cast that is named in this drama .. is what we call here ***POWER TEAM***. Oh well..... 🤷‍♀️

Although, I decided to watch it due to my love of this kind of Chinese Genre' since I first watched *Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon* when it first aired in year 2000. However, there may be a few I watched earlier than that, but can't remember back that far.
Anyway... with this drama ... unfortunately, there was so much that just had me *smh*. The young actor Wu... was shining through his character portrayal (which isn't surprising, he is definitely one of those rare gems, where acting is in his blood).
However, who they picked for the leading female she just lacked in the role itself. I just felt no chemistry between the both of them. Hence, this was just a few reasons that I just couldn't enjoy the drama completely and had to drop it.
Since, I wasn't able to finish this drama, obviously I couldn't rate it.
Well, there are a few other C-Costume dramas that I'm still waiting for the rest of the eps to be added ... crossing my fingers on these.

It's heartwarming to see LuSi is taking one step at a time during her recovery.
NO matter how long it will take Lu Si to decide that she is ready to return ... I am confident her fans will never let her forget.. that they are still 100% by her side.
I've watched this young amazing actress drama one after another after another & She Truly is Untouchable.
Heartbreaking as it is to see and hear how much torment this young lady has gone through just brings not only sadness .. but feeling of frustration and anger.
Suffering from Depression is nothing to ignore .. (we've lost too many lives because of it.) I've undergone bi-weekly therapy, along with medication when needed due to my PTSD/Depression.
I don't know the private life of Lu Si ... and honestly, it's none of my business.
However... this old lady who 100% supports Lu Si. My heart hope that ...even if it takes 1 yr, 2 years .. or more for her to feel safe & secure enough in her Mental & Emotional health to return... that's the only thing that is Important.
Although I love her movies & her modeling ... etc. I'd rather Love Her more seeing her Healthy with that vibrant contagious smile.

This young lady... incredible outstanding actress is due for some Rest and Relaxation. Unfortunately, it shouldn't have come to this point.
I've never seen any other actress that moves from one script to another ... without taking a few months off just to regain her balance and vitality. She's such a hard-working young lady, yet there comes a point that the agency or her manager should have been strict on making it mandatory for her to take a few months off.
I know there are people out there that will say, well she's young etc.. etc... but even the young have limits when it comes to working how many hours a day .. plus eating habits (due to ridiculous scripts that demand an actor or actress be a certain weight). All this can take a toll on anyone.
Plus... I don't understand the *hate comments* out there. Some are just sickening. What is wrong with these people? This young actress deals with a lot to bring happiness to millions of people & fans. Yet... she has to deal with comments from maggots??? Cyber bullying is what I can't stand the most in this day and age. Just crawling out of your sh*thole to embrace in someone else's pain, only to cause more mentally & emotionally.
I would love to have these barbaric maggots who leave these type of hate comments about any type of entertainers ... be put in the same shoes for a few months and see how long they last. I know when I feel dislike for someone, my whole body reacts negatively... people that do this must be used to living in hate.
***Zhao Lu Si ... I wish her a long-rested recovery, surrounded by those who truly do love her. 🌹🙏***. It's not only well deserved... but overdue. I'll look forward to seeing her return with a much healthier body, mind ... along with her infectious smile 🌹

Finally watched this ... after how longggg ago when the first one aired.
My expectation of how this was going to end was spot on & so I wasn't as disappointed .
I think I knew from the beginning that this wasn't going to end with the couple I paired, but life is not perfect & you can't always get what you wish for in life. The one they paired Hwang Sun Oh up with ... well... no comment.
I personally rated this 2.5/10 .. which is a huge drop from the first season.
Yet again, like I specified... I wasn't disappointed in how I was going to feel about season 2.
