I thought I’m the only one not enjoying the mother’s storyline. I might just end up skipping the scenes because…
I did just that :D lol. It just seems forced... I can't understand the reasoning behind intern dude's infatuation with the mom. Like you see a broken, work-crazed, two-faced lady boss and you suddenly think it's a good idea to flirt with her???

welcome to c-drama, censorship is part of drama culture lol
I agree about the US and UK ones but South Korean drama censorships are quite strict also, albeit not as strict as their Chinese counterparts. Hence why a lot of heavily-themed SK shows are aired only on Internet-viewing platforms. Chinese shows (even their variety and web-platforms ones) are so heavily censored to the point of nonsense.

Was honestly surprised that this kind of drama got through the censor, considering the overall theme. Some earlier dramas kindof got criticized for the age gap, if am not mistaken.

Just finished reading the whole original novel out of curiosity. The production really cut a lot of scenes in the novel (no wonder. or else there aint NO way this could went pass censorship lol).
Personally NOT liking the mother's story line in the drama.

Is it just me or does he find out about her illness in episode 17? That trailer was a little uh oh….or does…
The scene where the adults + ML sat down for 'tea time', the mother mentioned her daughter was/is sick. But in the novel, it will be much later before ML knows about her actual illness. In ep 18 preview, FL will have a fever but ML should not have known about her past illness at that point (according to the novel).

Please what are their ages in the drama?
i don't think it has been said explicitly in the drama but in the novel, Xiao Han is said to be 32 while He Ran is 18.

I am so SO frustrated with SY! Like i get that she doesn’t care what other think of her etc but girl….. making yourself to look like a two timer with two colleagues in an industry like that is NOT helping anyone, at all.

Hello is there an age gap between the main characters? Thanks
I had read the novel a while ago, if I'm not mistaken, the ML is 3 years older than our FL. In real life they're both born in 1997.

Yep. I'm talking about the actors' age differences in real life :)

Does anyone notice the real age difference between the Lu siblings? Dylan Kuo and Sophie Zhang is 20 years old apart in age lol

I truly enjoy the siblings’ scenes! I’ve always liked Sophie Zhang but I think this is her best suited role as of yet. Male lead… too skinny and stoic for my taste. I wish he could show more expressions on screen. I like the guys better in game mode (I think ML look better in costume). There isnt much plot going on so far (I’m on ep 8). Will continue watching for the Lu sibs and the light hearted atmosphere.

Have several questions about the story, can anybody help?
1. So who is the 'finger' hacker? is it Sum?
2. Why the hell Sum doesn't cooperate with her friends, even after confirming that the psycho dude is a wacko killer? Why does she have to mislead the police and killed wacko by herself?
3. Why psycho dude cried blood in the last ep? Is it a metaphor or smt?
4. So the AI program that changes face into the victims' face and voice was made by Sum?

Urgh. Wasted my hours on this series. Acting is good but TERRIBLE writing and directing. Lots of confusion on the viewer's part as theres so many holes and unanswered issues everywhere!
And heads up for nudities (in several episodes) and uncensored sexual acts. I think this is the first publicly available Korean show I've ever watched that daringly shows explicit scenes.

Ep 6: can someone tell me why he had to kill the shop owner? What did she do wrong??
not 100% sure but might be because the lady helped that 'New Money' guy spied on him (they're a couple i think). Thus psycho dude felt betrayed and killed her.

Be warned: a lot of flashbacks, back-and-forth time jumps. Confusing if you don't follow the episode closely. Lack of narrative explanation at the beginning, seems to me the drama expect us viewers to 'peel' the story as it goes. Female lead 'family' are SO FRUSTRATING. I swear I can barely kept my composure everytime the 'mom' was on screen. And the brother is just...ugh!

This reminds me a lot of 'Someday or One Day'.
