I can't help but become emotional when I think about how much of a great father Lan Wangji was. He decided to become a father at a very young age, with no experience at all. After losing the man he loved, when his own sect mistrusted him, speculation about his character, the experience of his own parents where he had a mother he could only see once a month and a father who was in seclusion, strict uncle; but LWJ didn't let his own grief touch a-yuan. He bought up a- yuan in such a way that a-yuan never resented anyone, hated any sects or anyone. LWJ made himself everything a-yuan could need and taught not to hate. A-yuan grew up with friends and companionship and even though he was always very disciplined, he didn't hesitate in bending them a bit. He was part of the sect and the Lan family and no one questioned it (ಥ﹏ಥ)
Yibo was meant to play LWJ. There's no doubt about it! Too many coincidence aren't coincidence.
As for the fanart, I definitely agree with your interpretation! I can certainly see how the light is being portrayed for Wangxian. I wonder if the falling leaves are representing something as well. In that part in the book, it was WWX wondering and realizing Lan Zhan will always be there to catch him. As for this fanart, I wonder if those leaves are being represented as fears they're finally letting go of.

Everything related to this drama has become my happy and comfort place. From the drama itself to music to the audio drama to the book to XZ to Yibo, everything will forever live in my heart rent free! Edit: By happy, I mean vast range of emotions ^.^
This one did not disappoint at all!! It was able to grip my interest right from the first episode. The writing and the pacing was perfect. Because of some reviews and comments, I was hesitant since the first one was brilliant. But I’m glad this one exceeded my expectation. I won’t mind season 3 at all especially if it can focus on Hanjo group!
