I don't find season 2 bad at all. I just think it feels different because of the development of the characters and how they handle the cases.
S1 was darker and more brutal. The characters were driven by their own pain and struggles, seeking personal revenge as much as helping others getting theirs. They were also being investigated by a prosecutor and the whole questioning of moral thing.
In S2 they have developed. They seem happier now. More friendly. Just look how they're all smiling in the poster. The way they punish bad guys has also changed. No, S2 may not give the *exact* same feeling as S1, but that feels reasonable to me.
I think the “thriller” part disappointed me because thrillers and mystery are my favourite genres and I just don’t think it was executed very well. In my opinion, it was too underwhelming and I think I would have liked the drama more without it
court rules guilty on all charges

i guess it's a thing to make the bad guys look all cute and innocent
