ep28; delusions i really love how everyone twists the narrative and puts the blame on mu dan... like miss county princess, you're responsible for your own suffering right now?! very typical to have this female character obsess over mu dan as the sole reason why liu chang doesn't love the princess anymore (instead of asking herself or her man whether their actions might not be the reason why their "love" isn't working). mu dan doesn't enable him, she literally curses him, kicks him out, rejects him over and over again -- does liu chang ahve a degradation kink??. it's all HIS fault, and they have the princess act like mu dan is actively seducing the guy. how cool it would have been to see an arc in which mu dan and you zhen work together against the loser that is liu chang... sigh. but no, we must have the typical woman hates woman plot..
Same here l was wondering why it wasn't there in Spotify. I am so happy now finally after a long wait we got it.…
me too! sometimes, cdrama osts don't make it on international streaming platforms, or they are released with a dely, but the wait is over with this one at least :)!
I feel this. I'm in the states. I used to watch on viki for the comments. It comes back on and off and off again.…
the comments distract me tbh so i donโt turn them onโฆ but the show might be on youtube so iโll look there once i want to watch the show๐ช๐ผ๐
yin song's first wife Fangru is mean ? well maybe at first but later she understands her and she from being mean…
... i mean she took fang ru's food ... in my book that is stealing because no one else eats that dish. semantics lol at any point this scene proves MY point that she was not unfair, just a little mean at first. but once she saw the abuse hao jia faced, and once both women got free of the second prince, they became great friends, which i was also happy about. the show is a great story about female relationships and friendships. yay! anyway, good day to you๐๐ป๐๐ป

.... dear vincenzo lover (as i do not know your name i refer to you like this), my og comment starts with the word "rewatching" :) i know that fang ru did not stay mean towards hao jia -- my mistake for wording it badly. but it is a fact that at first she was unkind! however, she was not unfair, there were instances when she let things slide: for example when li wei ate her stinky soup without judgment after hao jia stole it. next time, i'll word my comment differently, but at the time of posting the og comment, i was watching the show for a second time and was thus familiar with its (up-coming) plots! :)
WORD!! They took an intelligent, physically strong, loving character from the book and turned him into a stupid…
colin firth is amazing as darcy, that's true!! but for emma i recommend the 2020 movie! for pride and prejudice the 1995 version is nice for accuracy, the 2005 movie is great for romance and cinematography! sense and sensibility .. i have not read but the movie with emma thompson and kate winslet is absolute perfection!
i have only read jane eyre (the bbc adaptation from 2006?7? is my fave!), right now i'm reading wuthering heights but i am not loving the storytelling tbh! i don't like how it's basically just a retelling by the nanny... i'm not actively experiencing the story, but "re-living" it
