I really enjoyed it, I don't want to finish the show :( Mo Fang is fine to me idk, but I have seen the actress in Love Like the Galaxy (I put it on-hold for now) and thought she was good, in Hidden Love too... so idk what happened here :( I find her a little stiff unfortunately. Rather, inconsistent tbh, there are scenes where she's good, but others... not so much. But it won't affect my overall rating too much since the show as really good up until now ... have 8 episodes to go :((

almost done 😭 one thing that has bothered me though is the acting of the demon lord.... not a fan of Zeng Li's performance this time :(

on ep32 and wondering to what extent Jing Xiu used his magic on Lin Mo because she can talk now... and it seems like she can simply have conversations with people even if they don't directly look at her, she seems to "hear". makes no sense... since she hasn't eaten the fruit that Jui Chen planted little pet peeve tbh

one thing I have learned after Eternal Love, Love & Destiny and now Shen Li is that those from so called "Heavenly" Realm/Tribe whatever are the most pretentious, rudest hypocrites ever like they're worse than Shen Li's demon tribe or the actual mean guys. The mean guys in any of these dramas are at least honest and open about their mean-ness and don't fake being nice💀😭 These little immortal women in ep19/20 were so... audacious istg, even miss "Goddess", I hope there will be some development, I need Shen Li with a girl-friend🥹

No, I agree. This is more of a mystery show, with some fantasy elements. Maybe also rather focused on family dynamics and finding out how Da Hae is sort of connected to them in the first playe. The romance is a little afterthought - nice to have, but not the focus! I like that every now and then😊🙏🏻

I mean, we already see that she is tired of doing what she's doing. She didn't want to pull the trick with fire again, but had to. She acts out of survival, which doesn't make it right ofc since the male lead is slowly coming back to life, so her betrayal will hurt. But I'm also sure that we'll get to see some character development - at least I hope so^^
