liu yan is such a loser, he never fights his own battles yet takes the credit. also, one moment he goes "i will kill wei shao" and then when wei shao is in front of him he looks like he's about to pee his pants LMAO

yeah the acting is also .. well. i guess if the material isn't giving, then you can't either lmao. that guy had NOTHING to work with

they really did the character dirty by writing him so badly ...

on the last episode, and they are STINGY, wdym only 43 minutes😭

considering he isn’t a trained general, but became a figurehead for boya, i can let that slide lowkeyyyy. but his character is just terribly written and in a way that makes it hard to understand of sympathise with him because he’s so offensively dumb😭 like he’s fighting his one and only braincell and you can tell

i don’t “hate” him either but the screenwriter messed up his characterization or the lack thereof

he genuinely looks like he barely has one functioning braincell which makes no sense cause to fight the way he does you need to be strategic like be for real. i’m on ep35 and in ep34 it reaaaaally pissed me off what they did to his character. he’s just so shallow and badly written honestly, it makes it hard to understand why Da Qiao would even fall for a dumbass like that😭😭😭 (also the scene when MM had asked for help …. he has no situational awareness like, he just stopd there 😁😁 ??? beo your wife and cousin in law are crying why are you smiling

happy ending for the main couple; sad for some side couples

apart from the villains, my least favorite character is bi zhi ... what a waste

luckily, her childish schemes don't last long, she'll remain silly and won't be a threat for the rest of show😝
