It really does take a lot of attention. Sometimes when dramas are this complicated they don't have a good pay-off, but Golden Cross seems to consistently. :)
That video! It looks like Kang Woo had his calling elsewhere, ne? Thanks so much for sharing; I always enjoy learning a bit more about impressive actors.
This is THE drama that I wait for every week. The writing is smart; the plot is suspenseful; and the execution…
Mm! It does seem that way. I had trouble choosing between these two for an article, haha. Still need to see Ki Joon in Ghost, though. Everyone says so much about him there.
This IS the drama for me too!! I wait with bated breath for each episode too! You are on point with the character…
I'm happy to have done it justice! This series is such a thrilling one, and more people should see it. Hopefully it does continue to rise in quality, because it could definitely be a "best" for this season. :) Can't wait to watch the coming episodes.

It's such an impressive show, right? Between this and A New Leaf, I've been well entertained each week. I may not have mentioned to great length in the article, but Uhm Ki Joon completely floors me here; my first encounter with him was in The Virus, and it took me an incredible amount of time to recognize him.
Didn't wanna spoil that for you when you mentioned childhood love interest since I knew you'll find out soon enough.…
Definitely! I haven't gone on just yet, but what's going on with the wedding and Akamatsu, that was actually quite the surprise. It'll be exciting to see how Nobunaga progresses, too.

It's all kind of opposite to his desire to keep the boys happy, because in effect, he's made both of them miserable.
But yeah, a slap would have been nice. It would have been cathartic to the viewer, even though the way they did it displays Solnan's character well. Like you, I'm frustrated that she isn't pursuing things more strongly, but my primary interest is in her relationship with Myongnong. Without giving much away, this is a plot line which drives me crazy even thinking about it X,D
Is Park Min Young that bad? I've had the good luck never to see her before, but I'm growing nervous at all the bad buzz. Usually good, veteran actors can bolster the performances of their juniors, so I'm trying to cling to hope, haha.

Confusing, right? It was hard for me to assign a rating actually so I went with "fine". Joo Sang Wook and Lee Min Jung enjoyed brilliant chemistry, were funny and adorable together and apart. Unfortunately, the plot was shaky in the first half, and the second leads gobbled up too much screen-time. I normally don't mind second leads (sometimes they make the show), but both of these were poorly written and downright evil characters. It was a lot like the Solhee-Virus, only you'd see Sang Wook then BOOM! Cold bucket of second lead to the face, haha.
It's not a bad show, otherwise. Just those two characters >_<
That's the most frustrating thing. In times like this, I want to shake the King. His decision to swap the princes never set well with me. The Fake Jinmu is still being used against him politically. His coldness to the boy is exacerbating things. ->

It just ended, but Cunning Single Lady made me squee. Joo Sang Wook could not be more adorable than he was in that drama; one could tell he had a whole lot of fun playing in it, too. I just wish the second leads never existed, because they were an almighty pain. Otherwise, I'm preemptively squee-ing over A New Leaf. Kim Myung Min~ XD
Right? My excuse is that I've always thought Jo Hyun Jae resembles Joo Sang Wook quite a bit. But that doesn't explain why I think his charisma is through the roof when it comes to romantic scenes, so <.<
Oh, those puffy eye bags. >< I wished that confrontation had more punch, too. It was enjoyable to see Solnan unforgiving, disappointed more than angry about what her sister had done. She's pretty much thinking what the viewer is, "What in the world happened to you?!" But I think Solhee was always predisposed to this sort of behavior, so >_<

That probably accounts for why Final Fantasy characters are so popular, anyway. The best ones are often "sidekicks" XD
There's not enough of the Crown Prince these days, haha. The Jin Mu has increased a lot, but I guess that's fair because I almost forgot about him in my Myongnong fever. The plot has taken a critical turn too, since it's the last stretch.
My viewing has slowed exponentially though, since I've become rather busy in every day life + I tend to inundate myself in currently airing shows. Still a good drama, in either case.

Same. I rarely enjoy dub, myself. Though with with certain video games, particularly Persona and most Atlus titles, they can be surprisingly good. But with anime, never, never, never, unless it's from Studio Ghibli. Disney tends to incorporate movie stars and respected actors more often, which makes a huge difference. But once one has heard a poor dub, one respects the seiyuu industry much more, haha.
Oh, did he? Is that title a port for the PSP? If so, those often have dual audio. In either case, there are often "re-dub" projects online, particularly with PS2 titles, but still.
Shy characters can be fun, but if they're bland after you get beyond the shyness, eek. I personally prefer fiery, passionate characters, so I get where you're coming from. But a strong supporting cast really is paramount. The best games have lovable characters all around, even if the main character is bland. ->

You've almost caught up to me on episodes! I'm moving through dramas at a glacial pace these days. Probably because I overload myself with currently airing dramas, but hey, what doesn't kill you makes you squee? XD
Jo Hyun Jae is like, the perfect romantic lead. My pillows have suffered many a scream/kick because of him also, so they can relate, haha. His kiss scenes are something else, especially <_<
She's doing the face, isn't she? LOL It's always the face with Solhee, the precursor to bad deeds.

Hello again! I've been quite well, hopefully so have you. Been busy a lot these days, then? At the moment I'm in-between Korean dramas, since a sizable portion of what I've been watching has concluded. At least A New Leaf starts this week, so choosing at least one will be easy.
My drama-mania has cooled a bit, but luckily nothing quite slump territory. I finally knocked Yae no Sakura off my priorities, as it improved markedly during the fall of Aizu. Always feels satisfying to finish off a Taiga, haha.
I also adore Odagiri, haha. I decided to wait until at least 5 episodes were out for Alice no Toge, though there definitely is a lot of positive buzz around it. In the interim, it seemed time to finally see Soredemo, Ikite Yuku.
Golden Cross is still excellent, yes! It's improved a lot too, finally becoming thrilling, not just well written. Is it one you've eyed for when the slump ends?

Yeah, the Kimun thing lasts a little while. It's nice that they weren't saved on the same day like they might have been in another drama, but still. It's a bit much, haha. What happens as a result of it is pretty nice though <.<
Solhee was surprising, right? Unfortunately, despite the fact that the rescue thing seems nice enough, I felt it was all for a selfish reason anyway. And yeah, they could have utilized Jinmu better. During this arc I started to forget about him a little bit, haha. XD
