totally, as always with Reply 88, we didn't know who would get the girl; jung hwan definitely seemed like the first lead althouh he didn't get the girl.

I think Li Yi Feng suited Gui Li character more. He looked more charming and interesting than Zhang Xiao Fan character.

No idea if he has plans for military service. I am also enjoying his character in Hwarang. It makes me sad that Park Hyung Shik is getting more recognition with this drama than PSJ.

Yes.. he is always paired up with someone older, Uhm Jung Hwa and Hwang Jung Eum. And I don't really like Go Ara's acting in Hwarang. Wish he would be paired up with much better leading lady next time.

i have only watched My Sunshine out of the three. I have been hesitating to watch the other two because I feel like they are too idealistic for me and are more like idol drama compared to My Sunshine. Thanks for the article btw.

haha, true that in this K version, 4th and 8th are single here to make it convenient. And the princes are a lot younger and less mature than C-version.

well, I agree that 4th Prince was manipulative. But, I don't like the fact that K-version is making 4th Prince too vulnerable because I liked the 4th Prince who was manipulative and scheming. I can only say you would like him if you like that kind of character.

I think Ruo xi fell for him because he was there for her, especially after she broke up with 8th Prince, although he didn't know it at that time). And from the beginning, he was the one who gave her advice to make best use of present (or sth like that). Either 4th prince or 8th prince, they both didn't give up their ambition or power for Ruo Xi, I believe.

I can't seem to recall the very moment you kept mentioning about 8th prince being virtuous at the very end.

And yes, we will wait and see how it turns out.
