I was hesitant to watch the drama at first too because I had heard about Yang Zi's bad acting. The start was also…
I dun think Yang Zi's acting is bad at all. I dunno which drama you are referring to but in this drama, she is doing really well and in her another drama that I've watched, she was amazing.

Once again Yang Zi's acting blew me off like she really acts so well that my heart is breaking for her character.…
I love Battle of Changsha and Yangzi. BOC really showed how good Yang Zi's acting is although she was still quite young back then. There aren't many actresses who can cry her heart out and make me really feel in emotional scenes.

I personally enjoyed this more than TMOPB, both the drama and book. The pace is better. Also, I didn’t expect…
I have loved Yang Zi's acting since Battle of Changsha. JM here is actually somehow similar to her character there - childish and naive type in the beginning and became mature along the way. I love that she can do both cutesy, fluffy scenes and emotional scenes.

For me, I would read reviews before starting a drama if it is a completed drama. Otherwise, of course, I would start watching it first and then when I feel doubt about a drama, I would go and check people's reactions and comments to decide whether to continue or not.
Definitely, also one of those who would go and write a review as well as check other people's reviews and comments after finishing a drama, especially if I happen to like a drama very much.

I watched HYD first before any other adaptations and Jun stole my heart as Domyouji. Lee Min Ho never had that…
And wow, so many Matsujun's fans here. Thanks for the article, giving us the opportunity to fangirl over MatsuJun :D

Matsujun is my fave actor ever since I became a Jdrama fan. I wasn't HYD-baited though. I started with Gokusen…
OMG, same here. I watched Gokusen and fell in love with Matsujun's smile. That was my first drama of Matsujun and later I watched HYD. I can't really choose which one is my fave though. :D

I watched HYD first before any other adaptations and Jun stole my heart as Domyouji. Lee Min Ho never had that effect on me as I kept comparing his Gu Jun Pyo with Domyoji while I was watching BOF. Never happened to watch Meteor Garden even when F4 songs were quite popular back in the days. And with the new 2018 Meteor Garden, I do think Dylan Wang has that vibe/aura as Dao Ming Si and he is doing really well, Jun's Domyouji will always be the no. 1 in my heart.

In this regard you can say an anti hero would be yan xun as well... I acually don't mind the ending of princess…
I guess Yan xun could also be considered as an anti-hero as well. But I just didn't like him as he was too driven with his revenge.

Thanks for the article. Already watching What's Wrong with Secretary Kim and Come and Hug Me. Planning to watch Are You Human Too? and Legend of Fuyao as well. Others on my watch list - Mr. Sunshine, Meteor Garden and also Fight Breaks Sphere. Also interested in Good Doctor, Lost in 1949 and Life in Mars.
Any idea on Summer's Desire? I watched the earlier version but don't know whether I should give this one a chance.

This is a great list. Murong Feng from Too Late to Say I Love You is also a bit of an anti- hero. The drama is…
I have heard of Murong Feng and that drama but still havent watched it as that drama is famous for its tragic ending? Another one would be Siege in Fog from the same author.

Very interesting article. I have watched both dramas and when comparing these two characters, it really shows that the hardest thing to do is to maintain your kind heart regardless of what the world throws at you.
On Come and Hug Me Jun 8, 2018
Nam Da Reum is owning his role.. such great acting coming from a young actor. Both older versions of main leads are also doing really well. I just hope the story progresses a little faster.

I watched it without watching NIF1. There were some character references to NIF1 that could make it more emotional…
I havent watched NIF1 yet. I will be watching it sometime in the future.
I think the best would be to watch it in order - 1 and then 2. But even if you decide to watch 2 first, like I said, it will not affect your enjoyment. Like me, I fell in love with this drama even though I havent watched NIF1.

Can i watch this and get everything even if i havent watched NIF 1?
I watched it without watching NIF1. There were some character references to NIF1 that could make it more emotional but as long as you have some idea of NIF1, it shouldnt affect your understanding.

I was hesitated to watch it, especially that I loved the prequel but your article encourages me to go and see…
yes, yes, u definitely should watch it. Although i havent watched NIF1, many fans of NIF1 seem to love NIF2 as well, if not more.
