From your list, I would have definitely avoided the first 2 because I avoid this type of plot where one of the leads have terminal illness. It is a classic storyline and I am glad that the drama land has gotten past this era. Other than that, I don't mind a sad ending as long as the story warrants it.
I loved Mr. Sunshine, Princess Agents, Scarlet Heart (Chinese). Hotel Del Luna was also great too! The Kings Woman was not perfect but the chemistry between the leads was ???

Maybe an unpopular opinion, I didn't feel like Mr.Sunshine was slow-paced though. Warrior Baek Dong Soo was one of my favorites in the early days, although I don't remember whether it was that slow-pace since I watched it a long time ago.

So the girl is actually dead or not?
which ep are you in? Did you mean the body they found? There is a plot twist in later episodes

Just finished it, it's so good, the ending was a bit unsatisfying although I know its not a romance drama, still a post-credit scene for two of them would have been perfect

After watching Arthur Chen/Chen Fei Yu in Legend of Awakening, I am not sure why he is on this list. His acting…
I am also watching it and in my opinion, his acting has got better. If we really need to compare, he is at least better than Song Wei Long and Dylan Wang. Also, this list is of course not just about acting skills, but also popularity as well as resources (ability to get big projects). For acting wise, I would say only Liu Hao Ran and Jackson Yi has proven their versatility.
As for Legend of Awakening as a drama, I dont think its that bad. It might not be as grand as Ever Night or as complex/witty as Joy of Life, its still enjoyable as a young-cast led wuxia drama. I could compare it to Noble Aspirations or Sword of Legend.

I always love watching new-to-me actors/actresses so this was a great article! :'D Of these actors, I've seen:-…
I would recommend checking more of Liu Hao Ran works, he is so talented, if you don't mind historicals, do check out Nirvana in Fire 2.

I have only watched Gank Your Heart but it really surprised me in a good way, it was fast-paced with excitment from the matches, romance was nicely done, not too much and not too little. other team members are interesting chars as well. The only thing I wondered while watching was there was too much drama going on with the team, manager and so on. I wonder if it is the reality or just the dramatisation of this drama? I tried watching Love020 and The King's Avatar but couldnt get past a few episodes. I am not a fan of Yang Yang acting. Go Go Squid has been on my list for a while.

I'd add Zhang Xincheng to this list. He might not be as highkey as the majority of people on this list but he's…
yes, I recently finished ZXC drama Skate Into Love, his acting is also good, just not that popular yet compared to the others

Arthur Chen was really good in Ever Night. Would have liked to see him in season 2 also, but I hope I like how…
I tried Evernight 2 but couldn't get past the 1st ep. Currently watching Legend of Awakening. Its pretty good, Arthur's acting also got better

Jackson Yi and one of my favorite actors. His performance in Better Days had me crying for days, he's crazy talented…
Better Days was really good!!! He has just won Best Newcomer award on Hong Kong Film Awards for his performance in Better Days a few days ago. He seems to be really serious about his acting.

Great article!! Among them, I have seen Jet Li, Vincent Jiao, and Sun Xing. I think I have certain preferences for ancient garbs. From older generations, my favorites are Vincent Jiao, Yu Bo with similar visuals and Louis Koo, Huang XiaoMing also have similar visuals. I also remembered liking Tony Leung portrayal of Wuji. And Wallace Huo and Wallace Chung are pretty good looking in ancient costumes too.

I have seen almost all except the first one on the list, The Classic and Letter. And yes, all of them gave me…
oh yes, 100th love with you is a beautiful movie, please do check out both the Classic and Love Letter, both are beautiful
Kairi of the Sky Apr 29, 2020
Love Letter is a classic ?. And The Classic!! ??
J-movies always have this charm about being grounded, realistic and raw. Nothing extravagant but still makes you feel a 100x more.
Orange Days and Beyond the Memories are my other favorite J-movies. Latest addition to the list is Us And Them with Zhou Dong Yu and Jing Boran.

great list! makes me want to create my own list too, but so hard to pick :’) 2010: Can’t Buy Me Love (HK)…
lots of similarities with my list, i have heard great things about Story of Yanxi Palace and Story of Minglan, just never happened to watch those, I have been watching Chinese dramas lately as well as i am a fan of historical dramas and no country can make it better than China. I do like to watch lighter lakorns with less angst e.g Khun Mae Saem Roy
