How was her reaction overrated/exaggerated? Wow, like...did we even watch the same thing? It's amazing how people comprehend the same information differently lol. She felt relieve that he wasn't cheating and hugged him out of the relief she felt that he was just out of job not out of love. Her reaction was so sweet. On the contrary, he is the one with issues - he hid it from her that he got fired, why would you ever propose to someone you can't even trust enough to stay with you with or without job? So far, I don't see any wrong the FL has done, she is supportive so far and actually has her own life too.
It's been great so far but am currently on ep 7 and the male lead is kinda getting annoying. He has been out of job for like what? 2 weeks! Not 2 years! He is just wallowing in self pity and acting like every one looks down on him. Also, It has started affecting his relationship with his gf because he is starting to project his inferiority complex on her. It's a bit sad though, it's as if he needs validation that he is useful everytime.
I guess that's the beauty of the drama - realness! It's just so real and relatable.
This is so my type! Lol. I love slice of life dramas and this has been amazing so far. Have been looking for something to watch after "nothing but thirty " and I finally found this.

not necessarily an affair. Their relationship is not black or white. It's more complicated than just an affair. Some may categorize it as affair and some may not. Most importantly. you have to watch it to understand.
Just watched this now. And, I am not sure If I regret it or not. I always like realistic drama regardless of what the ending is but damn.. this hurts so much. I will remember it for a long time, I tend to empatize so much with characters, it feels like I went through what they went through. This is for sure a masterpiece!

Wow, you just reduced this drama to "tiring couple relationship". I get everyone has different taste but this drama is much more than that. It's about the 3 girls life as a whole - career, friendship, choices, their ups and downs in general and not just their love life. It depends on what you are looking for so please don't ruin it for other people or mislead them with your comment. Maybe you should watch a rom com instead or something that fit your taste better. Also, I don't think you will understand their relationships or the drama dynamic considering how much skipped.

I definetely agree with that! Some women blame and fight the mistress alone when their husband have an affair but I love how Gu jia handled it differently. Of course the manipulative bitch was at fault too but if your husband is loyal, he wouldn't be shaken no matter how many people come onto him.
Episode 38 really broke me. I thought I will be very glad the moment Gu jia find out about the affair and was eager to see how Gu jia would kick ass and divorce the wimpy husband but I was wrong. I underestimated how much she loved him and how devastating this will be to her. She is smart, capable, strong and no is perfect but i will call her perfect so , I omitted he fact that she is human and feels real emotions. The betrayal hit her hard and it was hard watching her totally break down and cry. The man child never deserved her from the beginning.
