I remember reading the manga a long time ago and I thought (or hoped) that maybe they changed it a bit but no, they glossed over the relationship with that pedophilic character just like I remember...I liked the actors, they had some visual chemistry, but the story itself didn't do them justice tbh.
Both pairings are visually pleasing and it's not like their acting is bad, but overall the impression is mid for me, I feel like it dragged in the middle, 10 episodes would've been enough, considering that most of the time nothing was happening lol. 7.5/10
I give Van last chance, dead battery? Really? There wasn't any charger in friends house.....! And kissing scenes…
It wasn’t even a kiss just them fiercely pressing lips together. Honestly came to the comment section to see if anyone agrees 😂 It’s just sad really, profiting from a bl and not even kissing properly. I feel like the kisses from his visions were better, so I’m even more confused.
I'm gonna wait until the misunderstanding is cleared up and then watch. I don't think I'll be able to watch it ongoing because I know I'm gonna complain about the whole thing lol
The problem with cdramas in general is the fact that THEY ARE TOO LONG. 30 eps is enough. More than that kills…
Yeah, I watched some fantasy cdramas and they're normally 20 episodes and I feel like that's plenty of time to tell a story. It rarely is not enough - like with Joy of Life (though even within a season I bet I could cut a couple (or 10 lol) of episodes)
One of the few cdramas I actually finished this year, but not without skipping, the final enemy made me laugh and it wasn't really interesting near the end...I don't why but cdramas with heavy-centered romance plot just don't go well with me, is it because it's almost 40 episodes? I guess I should just stick with bromance or revenge plot.
There is only them as villains here, Pyo and his son. This all about business. So its all about taking each other…
I mean he clearly wants something from the company, whatever MLs dad was hiding, so I think it wouldn't be unrealistic considering that he wants them to go down quickly so he can find it.
Honestly the whole narrative doesn’t impress me, especially in this episode (as a Russian the whole USSR plot line makes little sense) so I’m just here for the gays 😂
As much as I loved the series, I think China should stop making BL altogether until the ban is lifted. The whole…
I get what you're feeling, I've decided I'm just not gonna watch any ongoing Chinese bls because this ride stressed me out so badly. But I agree with others that the ban probably won't be lifted any time soon, chinese gov doesn't want to admit China has soft power and not whatever they're trying to promote lol
10/10 if I'm being honest the finale (and the last few episodes) was so wholesome but so off-brand and passionless that it did ruin the show a bit for me, so realistically I wouldn't rate it a 10... but it gave me so much joy while it aired, I just can't bring myself to rate it lower even if it feels right to do so
I‘m on episode 4, with the cdramas it’s too soon to tell if it’s really good or not, but it’s definitely one of the most enjoyable shows I’ve watched this year.
The only victim here is Liu Xue Yi. He's a brilliant actor they gave him a promising story in the first five episodes,…
Same, I really love him and his acting but I can't watch a drama just for him anymore, started to value my time. At this point I'll wait for an action drama from him, without any romance, because I feel like he/his agency just can't pick a right one in this category...
Remind me to never renew my wetv subscription just because I saw Liu Xue Yi as a main lead, this is a second time I wasted my money...I love his acting so much but his latest dramas are a waste of time. I just need a good plot and him not being bald there lol
8.5/10
