this drama was released when i was on hiatus from c-ent, when i came back and realized they released a drama adapted from novel i love, idky i didnt watch this right away. maybe bcz except for yz, im not familiar with the other actors. but since currently no recent cdrama interest me, i started watching this and im glad i did! (hehe it is better late than never, right?) currently at episode 14 and i love going through xiaoyao's journey all over again ❤️

to be very honest, i dont find avenuex's opinion on dramas useful at all. hence, i stop watching her contents long time ago. she is biased, and can be hateful sometimes. she gave conclusion on dramas that she didnt even finish watching, not reliable at all.
im at episode 10. the story is engaging so far. my only complain (for now) is, cheng yao's attitude doesnt resemble a lawyer at all. i mean, her facial expression when dealing with clients, even her body languange.. i feel like i was watching a young secretary instead of a lawyer at work. did she act like that on purpose coz she is a newbie? but newbie lawyer is still a lawyer tho. anyway, i will continue watching and hopefully there will be improvement later.

my 2 cents (aka my own assumption) :
wuzhen was half demon coz she was born human + the infant demon core in her body supressing her full cat demon ability she got from previous cat lord. when meizhuyu travelled back and took the core to put inside his body instead of wz, wz became full demon.
wz used the truncheon to stab the infant demon core in mzy's body to kill it, the zhuyu plant used his ability to purify and heal mzy's wounded body. i believe the purified infant demon core is still in mzy's body + he was born half demon + zhuyu plant's power = walla~ he woke up as full demon
again, this is just my own interpretation. xukai said it is an open ending and he himself didnt know what type of demon mzy became in his interview lol.

it is not something can be brushed off just because u believe it is all lies. i used to stan an artist that was blacklisted before, i tell you it was hell to see your favorite artist unjustly blacklisted. any allegations, any bad rumors, despite no proof, can destroy their career. he needs to be proven innocent, which what he already did. he gave full cooperation with the police regarding the gambling issue. now, he is cleared from the gambling allegation. i just hope his career smooth sailing from now on

yesterday someone shared that he was cleared from that gambling allegation. the police concluded it was just entertainment among friends, they dont open file for investigation. there was no official statement/announcement from xukai's side yet, hence the silence. but c-fans said the news was spread among brands and producers already.
according to this, yuzheng/xk already signed the contract for the drama in may. but the problem is the drama was lobbied by yuzheng (in his usual negative way) and made xk's fans very angry. if.... xk was replaced, there is probabilty he didnt sign the contract renewal with hy.
i have nothing against double ML drama and i love weizheming. if xk starts filming the drama, i will be very excited for both of them. but if he was replaced, i will support his decision. smear campaign will happen either way.
