For some reason, (it's my opinion) i feel like xu kai is more suitable for cheeky, quirky, flirty and energetic…
yeah, i really love him in WOL and AMA. playful character fits him best. but i love him acting different type of character too. he did well in SAHPH as a socially awkward shut-in, serious leader in ABAY and ALP. and to me he did well as an introvert genius in MR too. you can look forward to his currently filming drama, Strange Tales in Tiandu, his character looks very interesting there. you can anticipate another Lini / GuYanzhen 😁
i dont understand. how did mei zu yu become demon after he died in the end? is it bcz her father is the cat lord?
he was born half demon (maybe full demon? we dont know his mother's identity). if he is half demon, i think what trigger his demon identity is the infant demon core now in him
i think xukai was added after multiple requests from his fans. mdl is always slow on this, especially the dramas that are very 'quiet' or has no official updates

it did get better. the beginning is kinda slow burn. i felt dissappointed with lack of Mei Zuyu in the beginning of this drama coz i started this drama for him. but i kept watching and the plot is getting 'faster' but the ending is kinda rushing to me. overall, the drama is ok. the ending (post credit one) is cute. if not for xukai, thruthfully, i wont rewatch this haha. so if you feel bored, dont waste your time and move on. but if u love the actor/actress, keep going coz the cinematography is very eye-pleasing through out
no idea. based on youku's latest update on their upcoming dramas, maybe early next year. but if we are lucky, by end of this year (less likely but we can hope lol)

almost all cdramas are dubbed coz c-government policy require them to use standard mandarin. all actors that have accent will be dubbed for sure, while those who passed their standard mandarin can dubbed their own characters
if this is cringe, BL drama is really not for you. among all BL dramas that i watched, this drama is less cringe, no feminized male to fit the uke criteria, no mpreg. if you have watched other bl that not cringe based on your standard, kindly share them here coz im curious
