Title Stranger
Still no subs? T_______________________________________T
it's marked as 'coming soon' on DF, I guess we have to wait for them since viki doesn't have it. I don't think other sites make their own subs.
(and no, looking for all alt titles doesn't help with anxiety)

-Spoiler- During episode one, you might feel like killing the princes who are using the maids as target, just…
I can't tell how many times I muttered 'what is wrong with you people' that episode.

Extremely disappointed right now, this seems to be another drama where they don't care about the female lead…
some of her child roles had more presence.

Is it worth watching for Kwak Dong Yeon?
thanks, I'll try to pick it up.

Is the story following the book? Just curious
it was, but tv dramas and webdramas may be in some relation, with the second one having (until now, it seems) more liberty and being able to serve as sort of meta for the mainstream production.

Is the story following the book? Just curious
how much younger can they be? I thought Yu Wen Yue just passed 20. (The actors look under 30-ish for me though, so maybe it'll cover some time?)
I wonder how important time travel is in the book, because here the plot is actually starting to make sense the way it is, as if time travel was only a frame to capture attention. It doesn't feel like something essential was missing. So good job, showrunners.

(But re: time travels ban, now I see Go Princess Go as a whole different level of a mockery.)

whaaaaaaat? I was so looking forward to this because I have read the manga, but it's set in current time?…
this trailer makes me a little less salty about modern setting. Is it an undersea city? Looking good.

I guess the time travelling part was removed because of the ban. Why did China banned it anyway?
where did you read about it? I only found some old news, but even those seem exaggerated since series with time travels were still made and aired after 2011. And nothing new comes up in english.
Girls suicides are a thing from 2012.
Plus, other sources say not banned, but removed to non-prime time slots.

I'm liking this drama, even though it has some not so good...green screen and background image lol.
hey, it's not that bad, at least they toned down the lighting from the initial episodes (those memory flashbacks in eps 7-8 came quite well). The traps and dangeons/sanctum/whatever scenery may or may not give me a Novoland vibe from time to time though.
I'm enjoying it too more than I suspected. Hope they won't be dragging maids petty games for too long.

The manga/anime is good..the series..not so much. Watching it without previous knowledge would've probably…
watching unprepared would rather be super confusing, both for what exactly karuta is and for Taichi x Chihaya x Arata (x Queen) situation.
/but after Part 2 I see they're forming two obvious pairings and throwing the ambiguity out of the window, so the second part doesn't matter anymore.
On Chihayafuru Part 1 Jun 9, 2017
That's Taichifuru more than Chihayafuru, but without Taichi's backstory and his complex frenmity with Arata (who's pretty much cut out and his story rearranged). Motivation for almost every character are weak or barely sketched and all side characters serve just as a backdrop for Taichi's angst. The main point of giving or not giving the number is ridiculous, since we already saw that Chihaya can contact Arata on her own (but the lack of means of communication was among things I never fully bought even in anime).
One thing the movie does better than anime is getting rid of the internal monologue which was severely overused. It also succeeds in delivering the passion for karuta and its fierceness (but for someone unfamililar with the topic, the rules will probably be unclear and there's neither strategy in game nor progress in characters abilities).

Is there any chance Jung Il Woo overtakes as a lead? He's listed first... I don't mind spoilers.
