in case anyone wondered, kissasian subs are still funny. Go for the link below, it redirects to good ones.
/ lol, I'm starting to think that all those scenes of Jun Ji Hyun being clueless about human ways of eating in LOTBS were a pingback to this movie!
This had been on my watch list for like the longest time because I thought it'd be another over-rated drama.…
That's how it works. The commander isn't blamed only for the space and time he can physically cover, he has people on his command and his job is to make sure everything runs without issues. He has to organize guard in such a manner a situation like this would never happen. If people can be killed mere metres from the emperor, something is seriously wrong. In fact, he's not a one person at all. He takes responsibility for everyone under him.
Same goes for the empress.
So far the story was poor, predictabale and cliche. Lost chemistry both lead, I see no sparkle, heart beat, shiver…
Speaking of water, I like that the prince owns a greenhouse. It's a nice detail as it's super water-consuming and it shows how vast the difference of means is. Also, how sheltered and clueless about common people living standards he was.
So, about the dead boyfriend investigation... Not single person questioned why he was even in her apartment? No…
like, other reasons than his father fixation on Bong Hee being the murderer and not trying to look for other options? I'm not sure whether he genuinely believes she's a culprit or just looks for a scapegoat, but I think it's the former. He's blinded by grief (plus, it doesn't look good for him professionally, to have a son killed and his murderer at large).
Do you think DA covers for someone?
I think I chose the wrong ship again, and the only thing worse than that is a realisation that there may be no right ship at all and both of them will die at some point for her to take over. First 10 episodes or so are more Miura Haruma vs. Takahashi Issei's characters. I'm impatient to see the MC taking the lead.
I couldn't resist getting up to date... so I binge-watched all the aired episodes last night (the perils…
Forensic guy working for DA seems probable for me. Eun Hyuk being a killer is my wild theory too. It's not baseless, because he and Ji Wook are partners in some sense (room-sharing coworkers) and he's suspicious. When Bong Hee was under suspicion, she wasn't on a partner level.
With this writter, I could imagine Bong Hee suspecting Ji Wook at some point. If Fight Club thought us anything, there's only a step from something announced as an insomnia to revealed later as a total lunacy.
All three of them were there around the stairs in front of the court, but I don't remember Eun Hyuk exact location (althought he would have to change, Superman-style).
And I agree that the writter loves playing with the viewers expectations and things that seemed to be already established. I mean, we've got a whole episode of Bong Hee being a stalker and a court scene with Ji Wook addressing this only to know later he's utterly clueless. It's gonna be fun.

I hope there's more about KCSI guy than meets the eye too. It's too obvious and was introduced too soon - we see his face for the first time and he's shady from the get go? I'm not buying it, even with Monster/I remember you writter.
We're told the killer is amnesiac, but he seems to know perfectly well what he's doing. (But english synopses can't really be trust too much, so who knows.)
Can I ask when was his first love mentioned? I don't remember this or a body other commenter mentioned being dumped at some water tank and now I'm anxious I missed half an episode in all that mess...

I'll tell you something. I watched Durarara recently and traffic officers there are no joke. So satysfying. Now I crave competent police officers. Just one per drama, please.
same writter and director
(and since it is, I'm starting to think it's Eun Hyuk who's the amnesiac killer. Great casting choice, he and the guy from Age of Youth.)
So, about the dead boyfriend investigation... Not single person questioned why he was even in her apartment? No one tried to check her phone records (which could make a point against her if there were signs of contact and lit red light that's something's shady about it otherwise)? Shouldn't she ponder why a murderer just happened to pass next to her place and happened to meet her uninvited boyfriend?? Because I'd freak out if I were her (living on crime scene aside, maybe she can't afford to move out).

(The title is so cringy and bordering soft-porn that now I want to get it out of my head again.)
