Okay so from what I understand is that there is a time skip in this episode, right? When the emperor left to go…
Time is out of pace in regard to two worlds. There can be a relative divergency. For Tae Eul, weeks have passed while she was doing her stuff. But in Corea, the incident was over in little over a day (a day for preparation and the manoeuvres over the night, not much of a war really, just teasing a few ships near the borderline). The PM was stuck in the same room (and outfit) the whole time, it couldn't be weeks.

Oh, I'm digging it now. I was pretty meh about it at first, but it's getting consistently better and this new batch of episodes was pretty solid. Ep 6 in particular was positively tight. It's finally reached some point of equilibrium between build-up and characters forming theories of their own. The romance may belong to some Disney-easque fanfics, but the worldbuilding and all things wibbily wobbly timey wimey are fun to unravel.

jung eunchae's character had like 4 scenes in total.in her very first scene, she talks about her bra.the second,…
I can see why her lines alone could be seen this way on a paper, but I wouldn't take that straight. It's more like a pose to make people uncomfortable around her, subvert people's expectations and play her sexuality against it. She's young and attractive, she's bound to be taken certain way, she can as well just embrace it and try to make it work for her, even for the sake of diversion if nothing else. (Say, one day it won't be bra wires beeping, but the staff trained over time into sloppiness will give her a pass as someone undignified and bothersome, not truly dangerous.) Is this the most commendable career strategy? Probably not, but I'll bet there's more to her than that. Appearing like she's close to the king is certainly part of her political image and it's yet to be shown how personally she takes it, but he does plays along, for the cameras at least.
And we don't actually see her at work, we've only seen her in-betweens so far. Using a certain persona in way she interacts with people doesn't exclude being a capable professional.
But hey, it's JEC, it takes more than a few cringy lines to make me dilike her character. If the writer's past dramas are any indication, we have every reason to expect her to turn into a lovable frenemy of a 2nd FL. So far she's the second most interesting character to me after villain, which makes her the most interesting character that doesn't own an ancient artifact that bends time an warps people's wishes into something wicked. (Which, uh, probably doesn't speak well for the leads.)

Everyone stay calm, only 2 episodes are out
A Korean king doesn't just go around giving his birthname left and right. It's a custom, nothing to do with some easily offended sensibilities.

I enjoyed it immensely. I liked who's the future boyfriend guessgame, the time travel mechanics were tight enough for me and they managed to nicely weave themes and parallels throughout the story. It was engaging enough to binge in one go. Didn't expect such a tearjerker.
But I think the ending was unfair. They did the poor delivery guy dirty. It was never adressed how they basically forced him into the accident by trying to avoid it. Until the end, it seems to never even occur to them to ask who the three people dead in the accident were, they're so focused on Yeesa.
Also, for a drama that puts so much emphasis on being together with people we love, what's that ambuiguity with romance even supposed to be? I just don't get this putting some relationships on hold until some fiixed point. They're close enough to sit their dying parents, to freaking die for each other, they share their problems and support each other mentally, they have their spots and gifts and important, abstract talks late at night, so how exactly they're not dating? What will change after this mystical breaking point, that up until then they weren't and now they are? Just be done with it and become one happy, triangular family. Duh.

/Yeesa: My friend may die in a few months, I'm gonna spend more time with her while I can.
Yeesa, too: I'm going to die in an accident soon, I better quit that pity-job and hang out with my dad in his falling shop.
Also Yeesa: For all intents and purposes we're together, but we can't be together because Reasons.

I guess that's the price for 'who's the husband' little game. The conclusion of a romance is so drawn out for the dramatics that it clashes with the very theme of the drama itself. Girl, choose either, both or none, but choose something. In some sense she stays that kid who was afraid to choose for fear of choosing poorly.

Father is strange. Try it.
I did, couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll give it a shot no. 2 someday.

I binged all the episodes available, real life permitting, but now I have a desperate crush on ML, send help.
The drama is surprisingly captivating and I don't do weekend dramas if I can help it. It could be the most generic thing ever, but the dynamics between certain characters are fascinating. The not-2nd lead second lead, the proxy, unwilling rival cousins, anything widowed daughters in law and so on and on. More, please, the sooner the better!

An umpteenth prosecutor drama, and yet it feels fresh somehow. I like the level of mysteries they're dealing with, it's very human (baby ghost in high heels aside). Hope it won't get stale once it settles into case of the week format, if it chooses so.

A true gem. I'm amazed how tight and thoughtful it was for something this zany. The humour wasn't slapstick, more like surreal, with weirdness escalating and escalating freely, but never losing the touch with social issues running underneath. Loved every moment of it.
As for Kim Byung Chul - what can't that man do?

for a drama that's basically a contest for the convolutest way of keeping apart one-time childhood aquaintances that are *meant to be*, it's surprisingly watchable so far. But I'm one more moronic act away from just waving off whatever steamroller of melo rolls through the mains as something they earned.

it’s funny how there’s no review for this dramas usually there’d be a few reviews by now
We have a feature for hiding reviews of ongoing dramas now, they will become visible on the day of the finale.
