It's infuriating. I would have given up on so many *amazing* shows if I'd given up within the first 5 episodes. I thought The Untamed was way too ridiculous in it's first few episodes and I bang my head against the wall whenever I think about how close I was to missing out on one of my top 5 favorite c-dramas.

Good lord. Some of you here need to C H I L L. Give the story a chance to work out its narrative and build its world. I hate when people sh*t on a show when it hasn't had a chance to breathe and introduce the storyline/its characters. Good grief.

SO EXCITED about that. Nothing worse than a bad dub ruining an otherwise amazing actor. Plus, they both have great natural voices.

He steals every scene he's in. I especially loved him in The Legends with his aloof and sarcastic demeanor. He brought levity to A Dream of Splendor with his comedic brat-with-a-heart-of-gold, Yan Nei. He's also gorgeous. I don't know why this man doesn't get more lead roles.

Anyone else have a weird need to see Gu Qian Fan have an emotional breakdown? Like, TEARS. Not just...gritted teeth and clenched jaw, but tears. Just me? Okay. lol

Soooo slow for english subs. Tencent is 7 episodes behind. So frustrating.

Also- if you're an obsessed freak like me- you'll LOVE the Tumblr posts on this series. Tons of delicious gifs, and lots of really great in-depth character analysis and episode analysis to give you better insight into each episode (while we painstakingly wait for each one to air)

i wish i hadn't looked to see when this show was airing so I could have been pleasantly surprised to see all the episodes available, SO I COULD BINGE IT ALL AT ONCE. This week-by-week wait is KILLER. Ughhh.

I was gonna say the same. I actually loved his acting in Sweet Home and Navillera. He can act well and can cry well, but I think hes IRL still a bit naive in reference to romance and it shows in his acting. I think the military and some non-romance roles like Sweet Home and Navillera will help him evolve. Rooting for him

This is exactly how I felt about the show. The secondary characters were a delight to watch, and I found myself cringing whenever Oh Yeon Seo was on screen. She gave a very flat, very boring performance that was especially obvious whenever she shared the screen with Lee Seung Gi.
