A lot of Chu Zhao hate here. :DWhile I'm not particularly fan of love triangle, Drama enjoyer shouldn't be surprised…
No clue, but don't worry, there are pple liking him as well. I personally don't blame him for doing some bad things (not that he’s done too much), but I think it’s also connected to the fact that he’s seeking revenge. To me, it seems like he’s against the Chancellor, so I assume the miserable life he’s lived has something to do with the Chancellor.
Now I’m curious to know Chu Zhao’s story too , why his mother died and why he suffered injustices when he was a child. It’s clear that he’s also seeking revenge, and somehow I believe the Chancellor is responsible for all his suffering.
Stupid Dudu. Seriously, bro? You chose not to believe her after everything she’s done for you and for the people?…
I actually think you don’t understand what I meant. I blame him because he didn’t let her finish explaining exactly what happened with the reinforcements ,instead, he directly accused her of the people’s deaths!
No way, as of episode 22, he’s a sweetie, puppy, cutie. I hope he stays till the end...😂😂😂😂😂😂
He doesn’t fool me. Even if he’s done some bad things, he only did it to protect himself, otherwise, the Chancellor wouldn’t have hesitated to kill him. We still don’t know his full story, we don’t know under what circumstances his mother died or why he was humiliated. Maybe the Chancellor is actually responsible for his mother death and for all the misfortunes he’s endured since childhood.

While I liked the drama it was kind of obvious who Yeisha was…
For me, it wasn’t obvious that Tong Shuang was Yesha, especially since the writers deliberately misled us by using BeiMing’s voice and profile in some of Yesha’s scenes. I mean, we all suspected either that the ML was Yesha or that he had a twin brother.
I have mixed feelings about the final episodes. I appreciate that it had a happy ending, but the events stemming from that power-enhancing pill felt a bit underwhelming. Tong Shuang’s revenge didn’t seem very credible, especially considering that it was actually his own father who was responsible for the Haiya massacre. It doesn’t make much sense that he wanted to avenge Haiya, his revenge should have ended at the point when he massacred everyone in his adoptive family. The writers intentionally misled us with BeiMing’s voice and resemblance, but somehow we all suspected that either he or his brother was Yesha. Overall, it was a captivating drama, full of mystery, and genuinely enjoyable to watch.
Wow, what happened with episode 27? Is this somehow Alice in Wonderland? 😂😂 The dungeon has 18 levels and you can get there with some kind of elevator? The Prince of Pingnan has such immense power! What's up with that giant rabbit, what kind of potion did they feed it?
I'm still trying to catch up on the episodes I missed , I'm currently on episode 23. I like what I'm seeing (the antidote was sorted out, the 2ML helped the FL and ML escape the death sentence). I'm starting to think that Yesha is actually the person/people who killed their own kind (Haya) and blamed the army in order to seize power. The ML is most likely a Yesha/a Haiya survivor, but a good one.
If you’re looking for fight scenes, romance, and comedy, then go for it.
