I’m wondering if the Crown Prince is going to fall in love with the FL. But I don’t think so, since he’s been in love with Zhao Yu since they were kids.
I thought case 3 would be more interesting than the first two, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. Episode 15 felt really poorly executed, just like the cliff fall scene in The Princess's Gambit. I hope this one doesn’t go downhill in the second half too.

Yeah, it’s true the killer is quite predictable in the first case, and even in the 2nd one, at least halfway in. But it was interesting to see how the FL performed the autopsy and how she analysed and pieced together all the details.
EP. 6–11: The second case was interesting too, I didn’t expect almost the entire Qin family to be involved in so many crimes. I didn’t like that the Qin Young Master wanted to save his grandmother first, luckily she asked him to save his pregnant wife instead. The resuscitation method used to save the drowning victim was really interesting, the FL is very skilled. In episode 11, Cui Shao Yang also makes an appearance, another actor from Moonlight Mystique! I’m curious to see if more of them will show up too 😅😅😅😅 I’m really looking forward to the next cases!
