You should know that this already happens in most dramas (Arsenal Military Academy, A Journey to Love ...), so don’t try to use too much logic, just try to enjoy the drama as it is. Even though the plot has many holes, it’s still enjoyable to watch the romance between the leads and the fight scenes.

For me, his vibe isn’t similar to the one in "My journey to you", he was much fiercer there, and I liked that. But overall, I like him here too.

I haven’t read the novel, but it’s to be expected that the drama won’t be a 1:1 match with it. after all, it’s just an adaptation.

Now, after watching 20 episodes, I think the ML is one of the Yesha; he might even be the Lead.
I think that on the lake, before they all died, he was told that he was also one of the Haiya survivors, and as a result, he’s now seeking revenge.
