This is man is a red flag and you cant change my mind. First of all i want to say that is extremely okay to have a child from a previous relationship and still want to date, BUT You dont start a relationship without telling the other party involved that you have a child. Some people don't want to be parents and some may be afraid of being a step parent and its totally okay , but thats a thing they should have known before the relationship. And if you dont want to get married again THAT IS TOTALLY OKAY, but dont be full of empty promises and and dont give the other person a pity ring. Thats just disrespectful
Unpopular opinion: I would prefer if the SFL wasn't pregnant. I think if they talked first about the relationship and the fears and THEN she gets pregnant it would be PERFECT, i dont like that the reason the SML gained courage was the baby. Even though i know he likes her and he just needed a push but i dont think this was the best idea.
So the trend of 2024 is picking stories with queer representation and taking the queer part out....GOT IT
I hope that someday a beautiful soul picks a straight story and makes the story full of queer representation of all types. I would LOVE to see the reactions
This is actually pretty good, i was not expecting this hidden gem at all! I think the big mystery should have started a few episodes early so we could have more sweet moments in the last episode. But i really recommend this one
I'm writing this as a drama watcher only and not a novel reader (even though i read some of the spoilers that were written on here)
Fist of all, the acting in this drama is very good specially the FL. Love her
Second, the story itself is amazingly written, we have complex character and thats the thing i like the most in this drama. Ron is the smartest among them all and i'm glad with her ending, many people criticize her character and i get the point they made honestly. But if you are going to start this drama keep in mind that that 95% o the time her priority is power and not love even though the power she wants is a stepping tool to help her loved ones and herself. Many may say she is ungrateful to the ML because he always gave more than he received but the thing is he always knew what she was like and he decided to stay a second so it was his choice all along. Thankfully she had character development and at some she broke some of her walls and let ML enter.
The ML, was always there for his wife and i loved him for that. He was smart, a good husband and good fighter and the most important thing of it all he never felt that we has a less person/ men because his wife has a higher status. We always had storys about ML in power and devoted FL, and for once in current day dramas i've been seeing a change but i really dont understand why so many people hate it......
One thing that i really loved was the sibling bond.
BUT NOW LETS TALK ABOUT THE WITCH HIMSEL......SML
OOOOOHHHHHHH BOY, i hated him with all my forces he had to much screen time and i think this is one of those cases where they are trying to push new actors into the business world so they manifest it with the screen time they have, i remember seeing this happening with ML actor when he was a SML and he and his SFL at some point had more screen time than the ML (dont remember the name of the drama, but its a drama where he played an idol locked in a house with his members) SRQ completely convinced himself that he was always the right one and he was the prince charming, destroying all the work FL and ML did along the way. Until the very end we had to deal with his HUGE PITY PARTY.... I really need a relaxing drama after this one because the stress this man gave me was out of this world

I think the only thing that i would change is the year gap of their encounter. Maybe 6/7 instead of 16 years, cuz i dont think Hyun Wook can pass for a 30 year old.
But the rest? Count me in, i'm a sucker for noona romances and I LOVE BOTH ACTORS.

They spent the entire drama showing that women can be equals to men, showcasing that they can be smarter than all the men in that court combined (cough cough Li Rong). If they change the gender of her child its going to be a slap in the face for all the readers. Even i who never read the novel( but i have seen all the spoilers), I'm going to be MAD

It was a solid drama, I really liked it but I feel that it started to drag after ep 26. But its still a good drama. I really liked the 3 couples, good chemistry between them. One thing that I think they completly forgot is that FL had a good way of defending herself but at some point they completely lost that part so tha she could play the damsel in distress

It probably ends next week, maybe sooner if they release the express package
But the fact that she proved herself time after time, and the the bad ones still think they have the upper hand is hilarious.
