Not my favorite drama for this genre but it was a really good drama. Like every drama with this many episodes they had too much filler, i probably skipped 10 episodes and i dont feel i lost anything important.
But the thing i actually want to talk is that can we agree that ML was selfish by getting involved with FL mortal form! She was living her life and he knew the risks and still interfered with her life, this man was the cause of her misery! But going to the comment section of every episode all i could see was critics about FL..... a mortal woman without memories and powers, locked in the immortal real by the immortals and getting dragged all the time by the crazy girl. Ãnd when she gained her memories and decided that she doesnt want to talk to ML they were mad at her?..... people he was the reason of her misery i wold have done the same honestly.
I'm always surprised how misogynistic people can get with the FL when they have the biggest red flag in the show aka SML.
I said this when i was watching this drama while it was airing and i will say it now.
SML has a small ego that couldn't take a no or an answer and that is why he liked FL; because he saw her as a challenge. Pretty privilege at its finest.
They did the same with strong woman Do Bong Soon, where the SML tried to kill the FL mother but people only could draw the line when the FL "betrayed his trust"
GUYS i get they are hot and i wish they could take me to see the Eiffel tower, but please lets have more critical thinking for your daily life, lets not sustain ourselves with the bare minimum.
cuz lets be honest the downfall of this drama was not the love triangle but it was de murders

1st At some points its was just content full of repetitive filler... Did we really need so much blood spitting out of ml's mouth? This man had enough of fake blood in his mouth that i actually felt bad for him.
2nd "Watch out for the Regina George in sheep's clothing" This is what best describes that punk ass bitch of the King......I REALLLY CANT STAND HIM, MY BLOOD WAS RISING CONSTANTLY BECAUSE OF THIS BITCH. This man committed a genocide and still had people crying for him in his death!
3rd Why did i felt that the CGI for the ML was better than the FL? Those ugly blue eyes and cheap effects for FL and for ML we actually had a gorgeous fight scenes in the first episode and pretty good wings. And the armors that ML used also looked better
4th (some random thoughts) The actor that played ML father was giving such a theatrical approach in this type of drama and it did not look good compared to the other actors. I wish we had more of the other sister, her spirit was literately raped by a man that found pleasure in seeing her fight for her survival.

Like, thats grooming behavior at its finest. He uses is role as a senior to undermine her and sprinkle her with doubts. The stupid comments that he says to her, about her ....saying that she made the wrong decisions, she trustes the wrong people, and much more. This little things stay with you .
She was a naive girl that trusted him, because he trained her and since the sects love this man she has literally no reason to doubt him, and even though its AWUFULL seeing her make bad decisions about ml i really cant blame her.
This man likes control, those comments saying that she liked him in the past ? I dont believe them at all.
He is a groomer, i BET he is the reason she failed all the past 9 hardships and the reason she lost her mind when she was the god of war!
I just wished we had a few more scenes with the reunion. Bok Dong Hee and Grace will be forever the couple we chould and should have ! Like can you imagine the power couple ?!?!?!!?
Overall it was a really good drama and smart writing, from all the endings i could have imagined nothing would have me prepared for this one, it was really smart !
I personally believe that they could have went deeper with the leads relationship, by the last few episodes they didnt have the cute vibe they had in the beginning. I really disliked the last episode, they could showed so many other things, so many characters that could have being brought back, but they went with a strange direction.
LOVED the relationship between the female lead parents. Leads looked cute together. You could tell that some reactions were genuine, i just know the must had a great time shooting this drama
