What were you expecting? There will be some drama but from the novel it should be worth the ride.
Probably a slower full of angst drama, but the drama delivered some action with those scenes of seven tied and i was not expecting that at all, since i never read the novel.

The random ex boyfriend of the mother and his mother. The random appearance of sml father in a hospital bed. ML family accident and father getting scammed. FL bio mom making a surprise visit
And all of this brought nothing to the story, NOTHING.

We can clearly see that they loved each other in the past, but after the incident that ML chose to not clarify (for reasons still to discover), everything went south, and she started the famous emotional affair. She already said that āthe worst thing a woman could do is to pin their hopes on men.ā, and right now her actions match her way o thinking....you get involved with you childhood friend? Bet, i can do the same!
We still donĀ“t have the confirmation of what really happened to them and if it was Su Rong, since we only have suspicions that are not based on facts.
And props to the hair/makeup / wardrobe department, cuz both of them look GOOOOOOD.
