My absolute favourite moment from this drama is Ep13 @28.50. Just the way Duan Xiao see's that Li Jin Bu has her hand up so immediately puts his up too. It's such a sweet sequence that makes me smile every time I go re-watch it. Anyway, I highly, highly recommend this drama to everyone. I watched it a few months ago and am still not over it.
Gu Zi Cheng's character Wu Zhi Xun is the father- he moves to America and therefore Li Qing Tong doesn't get the chance to tell him that she's pregnant. Chen Jun He doesn't want Li Qing Tong to have to take the backlash from society as a single mother so offers to marry her and have him be written as the child's father on the official documents.
LOL, love triangles always exist in c/j/k-dramas! Just a matter of how bad the unreciprocated parties can change…
That's what I mean, there are so many dramas where the 2FL is the villain, where as there are very few where it's the 2ML. They always feel as if they have to pit women against each other, but they would never do that with the male characters and we almost always get some sort of camaraderie between the two ML's

I'm more so annoyed because they almost never make the 2ML (in a love triangle where there's 2 men, 1 woman) an asshole, it's as if they'd so happily make a woman the villain but couldn't bear to make there be a scheming 2ML for fear of backlash.
yeah but she was the villain in the webtoon to so im not shocked but im sadSoojin was so badass and nice at first…
I'm not shocked either, just disappointed that they baited us with this friendship only to make such a good, well written character take the fall as the villain
I truly hate the way kdrama's always plot love triangles where it's two girls liking one guy, and for some reason they have to make the 2FL a scheming bitch. There's no real reason for the writers to change Soojin's character like that, she didn't need to be made True Beauty's villain.
I'm a bit sick of the 'cold and stoic, extremely smart ML who can do no wrong saves woman from distress' stereotype and so I am so happy with this ML + FL pairing. They're chemistry, the script... it's just too good
Okay not to be too dramatic, but I am obsessed with how Im Shi Wan said that last 'chincha' ('really') at the end of the second episode. I've never been one to be fawn over the cuteness of a grown man, but that was adorable, I think I've re-watched it at least 30 times since I watched the full episodes.
A high school student dream about 20 years earlier to meet her mother in her younger days. THIS IS HOWit's just…
As much as I understand how you dislike it and didn't understand the drama... how do you know it's a dream? Is it explicitly mentioned? (I finished the drama last night and don't ever remember them saying it was a dream)
I finished this drama last night and I don't think I will ever get over it. If you've come to the mdl profile to check out this drama- I highly recommend it, please go watch it :))
Ok but wtf was that last episode?? You don't make everyone think that you're dead (including your mother), have them mourn your death, and then randomly show up in five years time completely fine. How and why would you pull that off? What is your motivation behind doing that? Is there any actual logical thought that goes into something like this? I understand that this is drama and everything is embellished a bit, but I can only allow that to a point. This totally ruined the drama for me, just what did the writers think they would achieve by doing this?
As much as I like Minhyun, I'm a tad bit disappointed... I've watched the first two episodes and didn't find any of the characters likeable. Hopefully the next few episodes will be better :))
I forgot that this was only 8 episodes and only realised that they were rearing up for the finish super close to the end of the last episode... and now I'm depressed :(
i really dont like lee hyun's character why does she gotta be mad when ahn ji and jae ha fvcked eachother earlier…
I think it was more so that neither of them said anything, if after sleeping with this dude once and then the friend came and told her the truth (as in that she had actually slept with him before but couldn't tell her yesterday) then it would have all been a lot easier to talk out- but the friend and fwb continued to meet and deceive her. This isn't me defending the FL's actions, bcs none of the characters within this drama were particularly likeable, but more so just giving a different point of outlook lol
Anyway, I highly, highly recommend this drama to everyone. I watched it a few months ago and am still not over it.
