I don't really know why, but I cried at the end of this movie. It just made me feel so lonely and yet so filled with love. I know she is a fictional character, but I wish the best for Chihiro and hope that she continues to spread her love to the people around her for many years to come.
Pride is one of my favourite dramas and I rewatch it often, for some reason I had never come across the news of her passing, finding this out today was a very very sad revelation. I hope you are resting easy Takeuchi Yuko, you are dearly missed.
I just finished episode 15 and I really wonder if the novel had Gao Yun Lang and Chen Mo paired up because this…
lol I just scrolled down to see a whole heap of people have commented almost the exact same thing I did. I had a look on novelupdates for the English translated novel but couldn't find anything :(( if anybody else knows where I could find it I'd love the link!
I just finished episode 15 and I really wonder if the novel had Gao Yun Lang and Chen Mo paired up because this is certainly giving very queerish vibes (which I love), given Chinese censorship laws I really think this is a huge possibility
Didn't realise this drama only had 10 episodes so felt a bit whiplashed coming into the 10th episode and feeling the wind down for the end of it. Nonetheless I really enjoyed this drama, cute romance with an extremely cool FL. I really liked how they didn't villainise the ml's ex and the fl's colleagues, it was a breath of fresh air having characters around the leads who didn't seem to be constantly after them like some kdramas do.
I really enjoyed this! Wish it was a bit longer and we got to see the final couple be together for a bit more, but either way it was nice for what it was
This is a bit of a strange drama at times, but it's so undeniably wholesome at the same time lol. I don't think I've unreservedly enjoyed a drama as much as this one for quite a while, I really recommend it.
I'm not normally somebody to comment my negative thoughts on drama pages, but my god this drama was boring. Thank you to the subber though! I really appreciate the time and effort you put into subbing dramas like this
I really like the soundtrack for this show, they've been using the OST's from some kdrama's that I really like. I heard the OST from She Was Pretty and that really brought back some sweet memories.
I thought the mum was going to end up being a lesbian (and maybe had dated our ML's mum) and having known how difficult it is to be out in a same sex relationship that's why she didn't want them to be together, but it was not meant to be :(
Also, as somebody's already put in the 'recommend other dramas' section for Reset, I would recommend Someday or…
So you've replied to my comment to tell me that they are not similar, when you haven't even seen Someday or One Day? Not sure if you intended for this to be subtly rude, but it is. I never said they were both time travelling romances, I said they were similar - there's no need to contradict a random stranger on the internet (especially when you're not versed enough to contradict in the first place)
God I really didn't like that dude Shin Woosung- just the way he treated the girl he liked, constantly getting sulky and annoyed if she did as little as looked at any of the other guys there. It's a dating show? What do you expect? Of course she's going to talk to other guys. Also, he sort of out of the blue told the girl that he liked her, and then just expected her to go along with it as if she had to like him just because he told her to? I can't imagine what being in a relationship with this guy would be like, I just hope that the girl was able to get away from him as fast as she could once the show ended lol. Other than that I liked the show, my rant is over now :P
