Far from perfect, but I loved the concept. I feel like slowly but surely, Korea is taking the right steps when it comes to science fiction. They are still far behind in terms of execution, but it was a pleasant surprise that this wasn't your typical survival story. It’s hard to rate because the concept is so cool and some of the shots were stunning, but the movie itself is uneven.
For some reason, I couldn’t cry during the last episode… instead, I just felt really empty. On one hand, I was happy that both Eun-jeung and Sang-yeon were finally able to express what they truly felt. Until the very end, Eun-jeung even said something like, “Tell me that you want me to come.” You could really feel that they understood each other and that’s why Eun-jeung had been so patient with her all those years.
Not gonna lie, Sang-yeon was a bad person in many ways, but her story felt incredibly realistic. You could sense in every scene that if she had been just a bit more courageous, if she hadn’t tried so hard to protect her ego, she might have found what she was really looking for: love. Which, in hindsight, I hope she knew she had all along, in the form of Eun-jeung.
Sang-yeon was hurt at a young age… and she never truly recovered from the broken pieces of her past. She was broken, and even at the end, when she asked if her mom would have hugged her, you could feel how deeply she still longed for love and validation.
As Eun-jeung said to close the story: she hated Sang-yeon, but she also loved her as a friend. I know a lot of people will hate Sang-yeon. I did too… but for some strange reason, I couldn’t let her go either. Because deep down, I could sense that all she ever wanted was love.
I don’t regret starting this drama. For those hesitating, give it a try and see if it’s for you. If I had listened to all the comments, I wouldn’t have started it. Is this the best drama I’ve ever watched? No, but it’s not as bad as some people make it out to be. I find the concepts explored really interesting, and it’s refreshing. It's quite unlike any recent dramas that have come out. The execution could be better, but I think the drama is heading in the right direction as the story unfolds slowly but surely. Plus, I’m learning quite a lot about space and pregnancy overall!!
What was this ending.... This felt so rushed and uninspired (using the amnesia trope a second time in the span of 2 episodes). Also I would have loved to know what actually happened politically during those years when the ML was thought to be death. I feel like the writers forgot that they are writing a historical drama and focused too much on the romantic part.
This drama had me on my edge after each episodes (specially the later ones). The only complain I have is that I felt in some of the scenes that the actors were just going through their lines (it felt like they were acting). Maybe I felt that way, because the chemistry between the three leads were not the best....? But ya, I also really liked the fact that they gave Min Ju back her body for the last episode, it made the whole story a bit more complex (we could see how it affected Min Ju and all). Overall I think this was a solid drama (did not watch the original), I specially loved how Jeon Yeo Been played both characters.
I'm confused. This page says 40 episodes (35 minutes each) and the drama will finish airing October 1, but on…
what you are seeing is 2 episodes combined (to make one hour) but in reality is 40 episodes (so combiend 20 episode of 1 hours). So, each week is 4 episodes (Total of 2 hours) . Hope it helps.
I believe because of the way he used her and speaking badly of her and claiming that he is the victim when she…
I think to understand this scene , you have to rewatch the flashback that plays just after PDH punched DJY . The one where PDH says : is not a big deal if not one knows.
If the cast wasnt this good the drama would have been a fail , beacause the story is not strong enough is just like other dramas (the cast saved the drama)
I liked this movie even if it was kinda predictable that the hacker guy was just playing like a bad guy maybe i knew from the beggining just because i so wanted it to be like that (i would have been horrible if he was really a bad guy)
The reason why i think that i gave a low score for it 6.6 out of 10 is because at some point i didnt even know what was happening in the movie because of the number of gangs and characters that were in the movie that made it really hard to understand fully what waas going on and also because the movie isnt constante
6.5/10
