Trust me, I really tried hard feeling the heartbreak and emotions of a woman who lost her love to her brother's hand and was used as pawn in power. I even tried hypnotising myself to feel her loyalty, that was strong enough to marry a dead body to stay with her beloved. But her whole existence felt dumb. She still had some charms until the carriage scene. But her clownery started the very moment she met those four in the temple and made the so-called plan. Her character sketch felt so shallow. Even the scene of her admitting crimes of Yan family and commanding the members of Yan at the scene did not come off as strong as I hoped it would. Her so-called plan contrasted so much with her being a mastermind. Or rather should I say, something about the whole thing did not highlight her as much as she should have been based on the plot.

Reading the manhwa again especially after knowing the cast is really getting me to imagine how well Ding Yuxi is gonna serve in his role! They really chose a suitable actor for Mu Sheng's role! No idea how the drama is gonna turn out, but when one thing I am very sure about is, Ding Yuxi is gonna do an amazing job in bringing Mu Sheng to life!

Hmm, that's possible. He is probably 'confident' about his decisions. He feels that he is the only one who knows the future so every decision he takes would obviously be the best decision, for everyone. So he probably takes it upon himself, to 'protect' others. But he never realised that he does not have any right deciding her future. Even if LR hadn't reincarnated, he still shouldn't force his decisions and 'good will' on her. She is the only one who gets the right to make her decisions and choices.
But well. Ofc he has his own selfish motives and that's not very wrong. Like ofc, if someone is given a second chance to life, he or she would do his best taking every decision in order to protect everything he cherished. Besides, from his scenes, we can deduce, he was probably not selfish in his last life, and always dedicated himself to his fame, status and family. Hence in this life, he probably wishes to be happy and selfish once.
We are judging him because he is an antagonist to the main couple. Maybe if he was the main leads instead, we would have supported him 😂 it's all on viewers perception. But, still the idea of him forcing his decisions on her and trying to change her principles and labelling it for 'her own good' was hypocitric.
Does SRQ really think that cutting of a woman's wing, and locking her up in a golden cage to protect from the wind and water of outside world would make her appreciate his 'love' and develop her feelings towards him? 🙄
