The number of times I cleared and rewrote to ensure I wouldn't sound rude saying that 😖
Also the personality change part, yes, she is trying to pretend indeed. Its just the vibe. Umm how should I state this? She just gives a feeling that she is a carefree person. I don't know if it's because JJY is unable to give off that 'gone through a lot vibe' or it's an issue from the directors side. She sounds carefree and playful even when she is alone in her own thoughts
Like even if the face swap took place, did SGZ have so much time in hand, that she even managed to exchange their hairstyle. May be they shouldn't have exchanged the hairstyle too, it would have been easier to understand the face swap thing.
Also based on first impression YCW is a character who has gone through a lot. Hence she always has that serious, mature, very careful and 'a person who has gone through a lot's vibe to her. Her expression gives a feeling that she has heavy burdens in her mind.
But after the face swap, it feels as if a personality has taken a 180 degree turn in the maturity aspect. She has become more on the funnier side.
Considering the fact JJY is playing the role, this character has colours and fun to it, cause she just gives a different kind of personal vibe to characters, but the personalities after face swap don't match.
But I wish they could have worked on some of the details for easier understanding.
Was it really participants from two different seasons who got together?
I think shiqi did say about, nini being his ideal type (no idea, if I remember wrong, since I am watching two different seasons simultaneously)
Did they get together after the show?
Also in first ep 3 people sent no message, that was so weird. And lastly shiqi had literally no presence in the show (not even a voice recording). I thought it was because he had been to another dating show before, that is why girls did not like him. So I thought it was weird, after all his personality seemed quite good.
Such a pity for the one who interacted with her in the show. He really deserved good screen time. Atleast until ep 5, it seems he did not budge from his first choice.
Was her fake identity revealed in the news?
Could a kind passerby please point out some major differences between two versions. Is there anything here that hasn't been shown in 6 ep version?
I am just hoping they don't come up with a lame title like 'love between fairy and devil' (afterall the producer is same) or 'ski into love' which is literally a copy paste of 'skate into love'.
Apparently, they go for these 'simple' titles to make it easier for 'international fans'.
Tho- I as an international fan don't really find any benefits to this uninnovative name changing.
Actually there's another english title that has been circulating for a while called
❛ Eternal night of Star river ❜
Tho I am sure that, the team can't possibly have such a good taste, but still sincerely hoping they could go for this title, cause it's beautiful and has great field of imagination !
Its just, YBY's acting was just too good based on the trailers. And tbh, her acting (w/ angst being a brownie points) was the reason I got this into my PTW list.
What a pity we can't see her. She did a great job putting up the innocent face as well the vengeful determined face well. Like it was just too good, to the point I rewatched the trailer nth number of times.
Its highly understable how pressurising it is going to be for HYX, considering how high YBY has set the bar. She was really brave to take this role, I hope she can slay in the role!
I was so confused with 'date a drama's like what is that supposed mean kinda!
Its actually like getting recommendations type! That's so exciting!
I got a Thai drama, never watched a Thai drama before cause I heard the accent gets you in, just busy thinking if I should try it out!
Thanks for this amazing list! <)
Actually I am a newbie in minidramas.
'Maid's revenge' was my first minidrama, but the whole plotline disappointed me so much and few modern dramas too which had extremely silly dumb plotlines, so I literally gave up on minidramas!
A familiar stranger was a drama I watched because of Cheng Lei and Guo jingming's stories(discovered them in My Journey to You)
And finally this drama (TOLAL) pulled me into the minidramas world.
So I really needed that whole bunch of recommendations!
Thanks!
