Killing off a character is way better than erasing their existence. It still pains be a that literally no one is gonna remember him. He was someone who was abused by his parents, forced to give up on something because of 'a stranger's word', losing his most precious thing, forced to sacrifice just for the world. I don't think so, because, once a drama has piqued your interest especially because of words of people, shorts and recommendations, you would want to come back to it even more. Besides, I did mention about it being a good drama yet being ruined by airing schedule, so that people do not end up coming to the drama during airing period, because the airing schedule can stand as a reason for unfair reviews :) But ofc, different people have different personality, so I guess, the situation you mentioned can arise too.
