What I highly suspect is that danger could be incoming from Kang's dad's opponents, probably in the form of a typical kidnapping plot. I mean, homophobia exists, and even without that being the primary motivation, Kang being kidnapped to force his dad's hand and Sailom getting tangled up in it seems entirely plausible. I think that would make sense, because brandishing an empty gun and bullying which stops very quickly doesn't embody consistent danger, though one may argue the romance STARTED from the dangerous moments shared.
can I just say when it comes to Chinese and Thai drama their product placement skills are getting so creative…
I just take it as a quirk of those dramas, just like Jdramas are known to be quirky. When I framed it that way and started to guess which way a specific drama would showcase sponsors, I found it funnier lol. But if you don't mind me asking, are the product placements in this monologues on the benefits of the product, and are there lots of mentions?
Ooh, sorry - I spoliered and posted it last night but it doesn't seem to have gone through. It was where Korn says "History is written by the winner", and I said that it would be interesting if it linked to what Gun wanted to say before he died. It definitely gives the impression that although he's got rid of everyone who he knows of, there may still be people who could shed light on some other crimes he may have done in a season 2, and perhaps spill some truths about Chay and Porsche's mum. The family tea is piping and I'd be intrigued to see more about this.
The end feels like it's deliberately packed to give more content to address in dare I say a highly probable season 2. A specific line had me rolling my eyes when I realised after hearing it they probably wanted to drag out a second season.
This is a spectacular review! I came from your review on Fahlanruk and didn’t even clock you wrote this too until the end. Thank you for making me laugh so much through both your reviews. I’ll defo keep this in mind and maybe keep this and Fahlanruk as low brainpower watches if I ever feel like wasting my time lol!
Mew and Sand have not disappointed - I can now say they're my favourites. I sensed a bit of what was coming and was still surprised at how much they made me feel! I silently screamed a lot today and my throat hurts lol.
Anyways, the obvious ending will now be that Sand and Mew join forces for their villain eras, maybe even get together, Nick gets therapy and the others go fuck themselves! XD
I LOVE that he completely flipped. He deserves to become more interesting and not just the wronged nice guy who watches his crush mooching up to HIS unrequited crush.
To say I'm excited to see this episode is an UNDERSTATEMENT. That preview looks super interesting, and we're only at the halfway point! I wonder how much more chaos we can get by the end! I don't even mind the wait - looking forward to this'll get me through the next month or so!
this is the best, most toxic and messy shit I have ever seen. I've binged it in 2 days. Jojo I owe you my lifeeee…
Thank you so much - you've sold it to me! I've been in the mood for messy shows recently! Would love to see your recs for other messy/chaotic shows if you don't mind! Also I love your username!
