My friend and I have watched the first two episodes of this and it hasn’t really grabbed our attention. The…
The story focuses on politics, if you are not into politics maybe this drama isn't for you. There are female characters but they are not the main centers as this is originally based on male centric novel
ep 11 was the best but my excitement of this drama goes down so bad after ep 12. i'm so bored of kim young soo trope already, to the point i don't hate him anymore as i feel nothing
it was fun and all games until you realised this drama will be wrapped up in 16 eps with this kind of plot. i'm still on ep 11, i still think this drama is fun, but most problems are solved already and the sweet scenes already more than enough, thinking the story will be dragged out for 5 eps more i'm just.... losing interest. I can see we will get more unnecessary plot here.
Just watch it and I don't get the relation between the grandpa and the other entity.. Someone help me!
the great grandfather was a traitor, he "sold" his country to japan. it was believed that the great grandfather was a nobleman/higher up in that era. Monk Gisune moved the great grandfather's grave to that place so people wouldn't find out the actual terrible thing hidden down there (double burials). Since this is a grave of super wealthy/noble family, people wouldn't go near this place cuz it's protected and wouldn't cause suspicion. The late great grandfather's soul was angry and tortured because he's placed above that japanese general ghost, hence he haunted his bloodline in their dreams, generation by generation for years but nobody did something to save him. thats why when his soul was accidentally free, he went to kill his bloodline cuz all is left for him was resentment for 100 years.
