Ming Ye didn't have shocked reactions seeing Devil God's face because the original Ming Ye was different person. Tantai Jin only reprised Ming Ye's role in that dream so he acted based on Ming Ye's original reactions.

However, the plot hole is Tantai Jin remembered what happened in that dream but he didn't wonder why Devil God's face is sooo similar to him. He praised how strong Devil God was and wanted to be him but he didn't question Devil God's face lol

its been a long time since I saw an epic, proper war between heavenly clan and devil in xianxia dramas. the CGI was amazing, and I love how we can feel the frustration, desperation, efforts and tension during the battle. Wow.
