I agree with you 100%. I do understand their point of view and I'm glad I gave the novel a try because it can't be compared to the adaption. It's soooo much better. Still I'm happy we got the perfect Changyu and Xie Zheng.

For me it was Our Generation 🤔 people complained that he wasn't even there so I was prepared to not even see him. Then I watched it and was shocked 😅 He was literally there... it's just that the drama was focused on the FL.

Now they're doing the same thing here 🫠 I get that they want more fight scenes for him. I love to see him fight too but they're bringing down Changyu and I hate to see that.
