The devil lord killed her family in future. The person she is trying to kill now is not the devil lord, he hasn't committed those crimes. I find it distasteful to punish people for future crimes especially when future is not set in stone. And she didn't save him out of compassion. She merely kept him alive because killing him is not an option. There's hardly any dilemma in her heart. She throws some crumbs of affection at him, he's starved for love so he laps them up and opens his heart to her. And she puts soul destroying nails in his heart.
I'm only watching the show for ML and his arc. Can't stand FL. She's hypocritical and prejudiced and its exhausting to see her go against ML even when he's being reasonable. Really don't know why I'm supposed to root for them in the first place.

You mean SFL gave it to him for ulterior reasons? But regardless he would have died without the scale when FL tried to kill him right? Remember he doesn't know that she is a time traveler so he has no reason to trust her given how horribly she abused him before. He's been hurt and betrayed by everyone and she gave him some crumbs of affection. She doesn't love him and if spoilers are right, will ultimately betray him.

In the novel he was evil so I understand FL trying to kill him. But if she does the same in the show then I won't like her. Technically speaking, SFL is the reason he was saved, without her FL would have simply killed him and moved on without an iota of remorse. And because I'm team ML I don't hate SFL.

Didn't FL do the same? She only saved ML so that she can kill him for crimes he might commit in the future. I quit reading the novel when FL tried to kill ML using nails. He would have died if it wasn't for SFL you know. Tbh I don't like anyone in this drama except ML. They are all hypocrites.
I know ML is supposed to be evil/villain but I'm not really seeing it. He's simply trying to survive in a hostile world full of cruel, hypocritical people. I'd do worse if I were in his place and its a pity that censorship will never allow to show a truly evil ML in cdrama. I fail to see how he was at fault here. She had no remorse and was okay with sending him to certain death, he just exchanged places with her. She's responsible for what happened to her, not him. He didn't drug her or rape her, he just did bare minimum to save himself.

She was brave and kind, she didn't give in and stood her ground even when she faced beings stronger than her. She influences DFQC and changes him, she literally changes everyone she encounters for the better. Its funny to me that you fail to see her merits just because of the way she talks/acts.
