Delicate, heartbreaking, and painfully real
Chugakusei Nikki is not a drama you watch casually — it demands your patience and your full emotional attention. It tells the story of Hijiri, a young teacher engaged to a steady, reliable man, and Akira, her 15-year-old student who falls in love with her.
What could have easily become something scandalous or trashy is handled with incredible sensitivity here. it’s not about romance — it’s about loneliness, confusion, emotional longing, and the deep human need to be truly seen.
Hijiri is one of the most complex female characters I've seen in a while. She's conflicted, scared, and constantly torn between what she feels and what she knows is right. Akira, despite being so young, isn't just a naive boy chasing a fantasy — he's emotionally honest in a way that most adults aren't.
Watching their connection grow is uncomfortable, but also deeply moving. it’s messy, painful, and full of all the things people don't want to admit about real life feelings.
The acting is amazing — Kasumi Arimura portrays Hijiri’s quiet struggle so naturally, and Kenshi Okada brings so much vulnerability to Akira it hurts to watch. The cinematography is beautiful too, full of soft light and small, meaningful details.
This drama doesn’t give easy answers. It doesn’t justify anything. It just shows two people, trapped by society and their own hearts, doing their best to survive feelings they can't control.
It’s slow, it's heavy, and it’s not for everyone. But if you’re open to uncomfortable, bittersweet stories that linger long after they end, Chugakusei Nikki is unforgettable.

Mind-blowing concept, a little messy at the end, but still amazing
W hooked me from the very first episode. The idea of crossing between the real world and a webtoon was so fresh, so smart, and honestly, so addictive. Every episode had me on edge, trying to figure out what would happen next. The chemistry between Kang Chul and Yeon Joo was insane too — their relationship was such a wild, emotional ride, and the way they kept fighting fate made it impossible not to root for them.
Lee Jong Suk was absolutely perfect as Kang Chul — charismatic, emotional, badass — and yeah, not gonna lie, he’s insanely hot. His presence alone made half the scenes ten times better. Han Hyo Joo was amazing too; I loved how strong and messy her character was without ever feeling fake.
I’m giving it 9 stars instead of 10 because the last two episodes lost a lot of the energy. The story dragged a bit, and some of the magic that made the beginning so intense faded away. But honestly, even with a slightly weaker ending, W is still one of the most creative, emotional, and unforgettable dramas I've seen.
Totally worth watching if you love crazy plots, emotional chaos, and ridiculously attractive leads.

Confused and disappointed
Kakafukaka had an interesting setup but honestly... it just didn’t work for me. the story felt so dragged out and awkward, and not in a cute or meaningful way — just frustrating. The characters kept going in circles, and the “romance” didn’t feel romantic at all, just messy and uncomfortable. There were moments where I thought it could get better, but it never really went anywhere.
Visually it was okay and the actors tried their best, but the writing didn’t give them much to work with.
Unless you’re really curious or love slow awkward dramas with no real payoff, you’re not missing much.

Sweet, funny, and full of heart
Kimi wa Petto is one of those dramas that just makes you feel good. The story is so unique and weird on paper — a woman keeping a younger man as her “pet” — but somehow it works beautifully. Sumire is such a relatable character — smart, independent, successful, but also lonely and exhausted by the world’s expectations. And Momo is honestly the sweetest comfort character ever♡ Their bond is so pure but layered with so much unspoken affection and need. The chemistry between the leads is amazing. Their moments together feel warm, natural, and sometimes almost too soft in a way that made my heart ache. The slow build of their relationship was satisfying, watching them slowly realize they meant more to each other than either wanted to admit. The humor, the little jealous moments, the silent support — it all felt so real and tender.
The only reason I’m giving it 9 stars instead of 10 is because I was really waiting for a more intimate scene between the main characters. After everything they went through, it felt like the story deserved one moment of real physical closeness, just to seal everything they'd built together. I wanted that final emotional and physical payoff, but the drama chose to stay more reserved.
Still, Kimi Wa Petto is a beautiful, soft, and healing story about love, companionship, and learning to let someone see your real self.

Nothing but cheap fantasy disguised as a story
Love Lesson was honestly a waste of potential. It tried to look deep and emotional, but it was just shallow wish-fulfillment with no real substance. The chemistry between the leads felt forced and awkward from start to finish.Every scene that was supposed to feel sexy or emotional just came off uncomfortable and empty. There was zero character development, zero believable connection — just a bunch of surface-level encounters pretending to be romance. It was clear the movie cared more about showing "forbidden" moments than actually telling a story that meant anything.
Felt more like a dragged-out fantasy than an actual movie.

Dark, messy, but weirdly beautiful
Love and Fortune really surprised me. It’s not a typical love story at all — it’s uncomfortable, complicated, and full of characters making terrible choices. But that’s what made it so fascinating. The way it explored loneliness, obsession, and wanting to feel alive was raw and real. sometimes it was hard to watch, but i couldn’t stop. It felt more like watching real people fall apart than a drama trying to be pretty. The cinematography was stunning and the mood was heavy in the best way. it doesn’t give you easy answers or clean endings, but honestly, it fits the story perfectly.
You definitely have to be open-minded to enjoy it though — if you go in expecting a sweet or normal romance, you’ll probably hate it. It’s more about craving connection in the wrong places and what that does to you.
Definitely not for everyone, but if you like slow, painful, beautifully messy dramas, this one hits different.

what did i just watch...
this movie felt like stepping into someone’s weird dream you’re not supposed to see. so uncomfortable but i couldn’t look away. messy, slow, kinda gross but somehow weirdly sad too. the characters felt so lost and disconnected it almost made me feel bad for them, even when everything was so bizarre. not sure if i liked it but it definitely left a mark. indie cinema is actually insane sometimes, like you finish the movie and just sit there wondering what life choices led you here. Was this review helpful to you?

Pretty but frustrating
Nevertheless started off SO strong — the vibes, the chemistry, the cinematography — everything pulled me in right away. I really thought it was gonna be a deep, messy, emotional ride. But honestly? The characters just... didn’t grow at all. It felt like they were stuck in the same toxic cycle over and over, and no one really learned anything. I kept waiting for something to change, for someone to wake up and choose better for themselves... but it never happened. It was beautiful to watch (visually stunning for sure) and the actors did great with what they were given. The chemistry between Nabi and Jae-eon was insane, no denying that. But without real character development, it ended up feeling kind of empty to me. Like, all the ingredients were there, but the story never really cooked, you know?
Still worth a watch if you’re into slow-burn toxic romances and ✨aesthetic✨ scenes, but if you’re looking for growth and a satisfying payoff... lower your expectations.

10/10. no words, just tears.
this drama DESTROYED me in the best and worst ways. like... i knew it was gonna be heavy, but i wasn’t ready for how real it felt.park jihoon as yeon sieun??? LITERALLY one of the best performances i've ever seen. he acted with his eyes. the way he showed pain without even saying anything... insane.
the friendship between sieun, sooho, and beomseok??? i’m still crying about it. the way they needed each other but were also their own worst enemies... it broke me.
the fights weren’t just cool (even tho they were SO well done), they meant something. every punch hurt ME too.
and the ending??? bro. BRO. i’m never recovering from that. i finished it and just sat there staring at my wall for 20 minutes.
honestly, this isn’t just a drama about school violence. it’s about loneliness, about finding people who make you feel like you're not alone anymore... and what happens when you lose them.
i love it so much. i’m begging everyone to watch it.
weak hero class 1 owns my soul now.

Emotionally empty and painfully repetitive
I get what Kuzu no Honkai was trying to do — showing loneliness, using others to fill a void, the messiness of relationships when you're broken inside. I get it. But honestly? The execution was terrible.Every episode felt like watching the same sad scene over and over. different characters, same numb sex, same emptiness. Nothing ever evolved. It was like the show thought being edgy was enough without actually telling a story that mattered. The explicit scenes got so repetitive that they lost all impact. Instead of feeling raw or emotional, they just felt boring and hollow, like the characters weren’t even real people anymore — just props for more suffering.
There was no real growth, no catharsis, no real connection to anyone. Just endless self-destruction with no point.
The acting and production looked nice, but pretty aesthetics can’t cover up the fact that the story went nowhere.
By the end, i just felt drained and annoyed, not moved. Definitely one of those shows that thinks it's deep when it's actually just depressing without a purpose.
