Be happy it's just mouth blood spitting. In xianxia, the trope is actually they'd bleed from ALL head orifices…
The good thing about being able to understand the original language is that, I've noticed many times, the subtitles in other languages (English/Spanish - both of which, I also speak fluently), do not convey the same meaning. Not exactly different, but it lacks the actual a lot of depth in terms of how the situation is. Not sure if you get what I mean.

For example, if you've watched the latest John Wick 4, the part where Donnie Yen said "Pokai Ham Ka Chan", the subtitle came up as "Asshole". People who understood Cantonese were cracking up loudly in the cinemas. It's hard to explain what "Pokai Ham Ka Chan" means, because it literally meant "trip over on the street, and death to your whole family", but it doesn't exactly mean that, it just meant that you hate that "ass hole" so much you wish he'd die, but that's not what it meant exactly. If you get what I mean.

Anyway, I've gone through you list, and I find some very interesting, and I may watch some of your top rated series.

And what you mentioned about Chinese dramas is so true. Quality of Chinese dramas from China is getting really good. It used to be pretty rubbish. Whereas Hong Kong (Cantonese) TVB dramas, used to be very good, are now really bad, not worth my time at all.

Ocassionally, I'd watch a highly rated K Drama, but it's very tiring to be catching up with the subtitles, whereas, watching Chinese dramas is less stressful, as I don't have to concentrate on the subtitles at all, I can enjoy the beautiful footages more.

And by the way, what I hate the most about Korean Dramas are the flashback scenes, keep repeating non stop, over and over again. I notice that TTEOTM is also doing this very often, which really frustrates me, because all the flashbacks become very super repetitive.

I thought it was too, but it continues.
So, the blood spitting will go on all the way till 40? Sigh

Well I stopped watching after episode 29. It's going crazy with the spitting blood scenes, I can't handle it anymore.…
Exactly what I thought. Blood spitting is way over-done and makes the producer look very lazy.

I just finished up to 18, where they all wake up from the dream. I understand the whole thing where they want remove the evil bone, they have to make TTJ dream, shed tear and grow a love thread, but I think the dragon dream part is a little over-done.

One and Only is the only one that's good. I can't stand the modern sequel, I dropped it after 3 episodes.

I've gone through your list, and it looks like I might actually enjoy your top rated dramas. I haven't watched much Chinese dramas myself. I'm Chinese who speaks Cantonese and Mandarin fluently, but I didn't quite enjoy Chinese dramas till lately.

I enjoyed Koreans more, but they've become so predictable, and they don't know how to end a drama properly. It's usually good 6-8 episodes, then 9-12 becomes meh, and the last 3-4 episodes are usually what butchered an otherwise perfect series.

I don't care about happy or sad ending, as long as it's a good story. I hate it when it's forced or rushed.

Anyway, I'm really sick of the blood spitting, it makes me feel like the producer is being very lazy, instead of making the injuries look real, they just make them spit blood.

So far, I'm enjoying Love Between Fairy and Devil a lot more. But BaiLu is a true eye candy. My favorite one from her is One & Only. Damn good drama.

LoL. But I'm intrigued to finish this series, looks interesting, but the dragon dream part (BoRe) is quite boring.

I'm Chinese, and I watch and read 仙侠, I just find this drama adaptation a little stupid. Spitting blood is way overdone. I've just finished episode 14, and I've reached a point where I don't feel pain at all when they spit blood, but couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous it look.

I haven't watched the other drama. I usually drop C-dramas after 8-9 episodes because I just can't watch so many…
I just finished the 3rd episode. Wow. This is good.

Title The Glory
Why u eat her up like that?😭
Her acting hasn't improve since forever. She could easily get away with it when she was younger, coz she was gorgeous. But she's getting older. She needs to put in more effort into acting. To me, she's still very pretty, but it's sad to watch her mediocre acting.

Drama is alright. But Song Hye Kyo really can't act to save her own life. Sigh ...

It's been a month since it ended and I don't have a heart to rewatch it. The more I thought about Part 2 since…
Exactly my thoughts.Season one was a masterpiece. Easily one of the best K Drama I've ever watched. Solid 10/10.Season 2 totally butchered it. 7/10 at most. They did both Naksu and Uk major injustice by forcing the romance. Romance without a proper plot is just a generic drama with no thrills.I wanted to drop it after 5 episodes into Season 5 but endured it, just because Season 1 was so epic, and I wanted closure.Overall Season 1 & 2 combined, a 8/10. Would I have watched it if I knew season 2 would be this bad? Probably, because season 1 was ultra memorable. Sigh.

Season 2 is purely fan service with no proper plot.

Exactly. 30 for My Deok. I don't care if it's a sad ending, but at least, make it a good one. Not some stupid fan service.
