You're so right about 'the baddie with the mole'. I saw him in another drama playing a court eunuch. He was same there except he didn't have a mole.

The Empress has her back but she's strict with rules and doesn't even spare her children. And if the drama follows the history, she'll not last long due to her disease.

I'm afraid for Fu Rou. Getting involved with Prince Zhou will only bring more troubles for her.

I like Dilraba as well but Li Yi Tong is my favorite actress from Mainland China. About 'The Long Ballad', I have a hard time connecting to Leo Wu as a Turk warrior. That's why I can't continue watching it.

Li Yi Tong is gorgeous and talented. I’ve been following her dramas since ‘Bloody Romance’.

This seems like a perfect period drama (for now). Lu Yi Tong & Xu Kai are adorable. Can’t wait for more episodes.
