You pointed all the flaws, flawlessly. I know I shouldn't be deciding someone's profession but Yu Zheng should be banned from drama/movie industry. He literally plagiarized many times but got away with it. China have such strict censorship on TV's content. They even decide how much an actor / actress should be paid. But why there isn't a law for repeat offenders like Yu Zheng?

Yes. Joy of Life was such a delight. Wan'Er and Fan Xian trusted each other and didn't let misunderstandings seperate them. Aiyaa.... Chinese producers & script writers should learn from 'Joy of Life', 'Ming Lan' and others. While watching these types of c-dramas (which usually goes downhill in the second half), I can't help but wonder why this happens? Because of half cooked script or producers just want to make money by using popular actors? I hope that the Chinese dramas won't be looked down because these type of mindset. They have such a rich history and culture.
Maybe it's just me but been watching until episode 40...This scriptwriter really have a personal problem because…
You’re absolutely right. Some plot twists are unnecessary, such as misunderstanding between Fu Rou & Chumu. Don’t forget about the unreasonable death of Consort Han. These all events are creating a mess that will ruin the original story of the drama; i.e. the romance of Sheng Chumu & Fu Rou.
Even after all these, I am still continuing somehow.
Yeah, I should've expected it to be a fluffy, okay-ish drama. It's not the best drama I've seen, but not the worst…
Love and Redemption is very good in terms of acting but turns depressing in the second half. Eternal Love is fantastic in every way, even when it turns melodramatic.
Calling Prince Zhou supporters, stop loving him asap!! With the way the plot is developing, he has become the…
Prince Zhou is most likely behind Chen Ji and Fu Shui. He desperately wants to bring down the CP. Now that his teacher is dead, he would even turn more dark. Not that the CP is any better. I am just worried about Fu Rou. I don't want PZ to betray Fu Rou but the story is probably heading toward that way.
I hope it doesn’t rush or make the ending unreasonable.

Sigh...

I like his original voice better.
He has indeed put on some weight. That pool scene in the first episode... oh my...
