I guess I am super late in getting on to the lovely runner train , I missed the weekly discussion here after every…
I think they are one of the things that Sol changed by accident. Geum had to give up his dreams in order to give Sol a better life and support his family, so when Sol was able to graduate this time around, he was able to achieve his own dreams. If you notice, even on Sol's first timeslip, Hyunju was already finding herself falling in love with Geum after the kitchen fire scene. She only went there to look for Sol (who happened to be missing), so if she didn't (on OG timeline), she and Geum would never cross paths together. Due to Sol's little action that day (fire accident), Hyunju and Geum got closer together.
I love how their new tactic now is to pit Wooseok against Hyeyoon, as if that's going to work when all the LR fans know that they elevated the show together with their chemistry, acting and commitment to each other. Lovely Runner became famous because people loved the story of Sol and Sunjae, and how both Hyeyoon and Wooseok praised each other in every interview they had together. There is no Lovely Runner without Kim Hyeyoon, much as there's no Lovely Runner without Byeon Wooseok.
Coming in here to say that Wooseok is the only reason that the show got popular is already an invalid statement to begin with, and anyone who says so is lying to themselves or making up imaginations just for the sake of creating fan war. Not all of us are shallow beings with short attention span, so stop projecting on us and the others who watched the show.
Also, the amount of people hating on Hyeyoon for crying as Sol? May I remind you that the person she's trying to save is the same person who saved her life. She's seen this man die countless of times, of course she'll cry. God forbid a person to react based on human emotions. đ
Ah! And it's cute that when Sol asked for a picture with Sunjae, he already knows which pose she's going for despite it only happening in the first timeslip. A little detail but it's nice to see them reliving the past that don't exist in their current timeline anymore. How Sunjae's memory of that day coming so easily to him after taking care of that one picture he has with her.
Anyway, I was rewatching clips of Sky Castle because I miss Hyeyoon. I really thought she and Geonhee would be a love line there but he ended up being... well. Seeing them together and watching Yeseo call him âoppaâ is so hilarious after having Geonhee finally call Sol ânoonaâ on LovRun. When I watched it back then, they really made me believe that there was a slight age gap between them and that Geonhee was a lot older since he was a college student, and she a high schooler. I truly wish we get to see them act opposite of each other very soon.
Seunghyub (Inhyuk) got his own version of Sunjae's headband for D-2 of N.Flying's concert. While Sunjae has âKidnap Sunjae And Run,â Seunghyub is âItâs Heavy If I Run And Carry Seunghyub On My Back.â đ
The way I had forgotten that the reason Sunjae snapped out at Sol during the episode two pool scene was because the day before, he finally met Taesungâ with Sol hiding behind him and being chummy with each other. I keep forgetting that this is a teenage boy who has been crushing on this girl for months now, and when she said âI love you, Sunjaeâ he thought that he's finally gotten a chance. But then, he comes across the girl that once had a crush on the guy she's with, suddenly, things aren't making sense to his brain. âIs she really just making fun of me? After being sad that I accidentally rejected being her Ilchon?â he thinks to himself, the once giddy feeling now full of suspicion and distrust and confusion. Since he can't really express his jealousy without looking too obvious and blurting out his feelings, he reacted that way.
I remember being so confused on my first watch because the ending of episode two took over my whole system. The shift of his treatment of her behind the scene kinda didn't make sense until now. (Yes, I'm rewatching from the start again.)
When did they get together?Any breakup?Love triangle? How long?Happy ending?
1. Episode 8! 2. Fate messed with them, but it's not entirely what you call a break up. 3. 50-50. We have a second ML but he doesn't try to come between the rs of the leads. 4. 16 episode! 5. Yes, the happiest ending to have come to k-drama land.
I tried to watch this because I'm on a drama slump right now, but I have a feeling that chaebol stories and high…
PS. KDramas should drop the âM/FL coming to a new school for revenge because BAM! someone from his family diedâ plots. It's done and tested before. The twist wasn't even twisting anymore because based from the ML's reaction to the #Talk, it just shows what his hidden motives are.
I tried to watch this because I'm on a drama slump right now, but I have a feeling that chaebol stories and high school hierarchy is starting to get boring these past few years. Bitch x Rich's pilot was able to capture my attention, but this feels diluted on the first episode.... Maybe it's just not hitting yet but I'll come back once I finished everything.

Giving it a 6.5 for now.
