The way I had forgotten that the reason Sunjae snapped out at Sol during the episode two pool scene was because the day before, he finally met Taesung— with Sol hiding behind him and being chummy with each other. I keep forgetting that this is a teenage boy who has been crushing on this girl for months now, and when she said ‘I love you, Sunjae’ he thought that he's finally gotten a chance. But then, he comes across the girl that once had a crush on the guy she's with, suddenly, things aren't making sense to his brain. ‘Is she really just making fun of me? After being sad that I accidentally rejected being her Ilchon?’ he thinks to himself, the once giddy feeling now full of suspicion and distrust and confusion. Since he can't really express his jealousy without looking too obvious and blurting out his feelings, he reacted that way.

I remember being so confused on my first watch because the ending of episode two took over my whole system. The shift of his treatment of her behind the scene kinda didn't make sense until now. (Yes, I'm rewatching from the start again.)

I tried to watch this because I'm on a drama slump right now, but I have a feeling that chaebol stories and high school hierarchy is starting to get boring these past few years. Bitch x Rich's pilot was able to capture my attention, but this feels diluted on the first episode.... Maybe it's just not hitting yet but I'll come back once I finished everything.

They did! It's during episode 15 where Sunjae is lying on the ground while looking at the snow. He remembers the day he met Sol for the first time, the accident, the hospital scene, and then them meeting each other on the bridge.

If you notice, too, Sunjae is very 2nd ML-coded in his time— in love with the FL and is just the greenest flag there is, while Taesung is the perfect ML type that's popular— a cool, bad boy with a soft side in him when it comes to the FL. It's so fun to see them change it up a notch.

Yes! The only thing that changed on episode 3/4 is that Sunjae had the picture they had back then + memories before Taesung asked Sol to be his gf. The Sol that dated Taesung never paid attention to Sunjae (like the OG timeline did) so the accident in 2008 still happened.

Hi! To clear up your confusion, both of Sunjae's watch becomes a time machine. It activates whenever he dies and only when he dies does the time travel works. If you wonder why she's able to travel back in time while it's morning instead of midnight, it's because it only activates once he's /really/ dead. As far as theories go, grandma was shown as some sort of deity. She was playing with Sol's watch on episode one so she might've known something was going to happen to the two of them. Since she has memories of all the timelines, we can say that her travelling through her memories from her dementia made her all-knowing.

Hyeyoon's visit to the pop-up store confirmed that she's not exactly a Capella but a Sunjae solo stan. I forgot that she had beef with other fans on the concert for speaking ill about Sunjae on episode 1. 😂
