I kept forgetting that the new Crown Prince was a product of r*pe in Dan's part... He was also probably still young when the Empress Dowager did that to him if the kid is the same age as Dan was when he finally took the throne. The Empress talking about him like that, drugging him and trying to trigger him to remember his (very heinous) trauma... no wonder he's lost all hope in surviving for long until Wanyin's appearance. His life was a horror movie in that palace.
In the novel, they were not officially together, but Tiancai loved her but did not desire her because he knew…
Thank you so much for all the details. So glad that I wasn't imagining it and that the attraction between them is mutual. đ That pleases me already; Yong needs somebody who treasures her, not that jerk. I think I'll be okay with this summary for now. I wanna keep the suspenseâ wait whether the tragedy would come for them. Thank you again!
Hi! Just asking if Tiancai and Yong's storyline is actually going #there because I really need to know this so badly. Add spoilers for the answer, just in case! Here's to hoping that it's not going for something tragic because they look cute. :(
PS. Dan and Wanyin (ft Mr. Bei) are such a power couple! I love them so much! T___T
BAJ isn't a grey character for me at all. She is white.. only cafe owner and jae o are whiter. Yes she used them…
Junseo just started becoming annoying the second he starts preaching to her. He acts like he's some good guy when he also acts on his own volition to do bad things for her. Only reason he started going for the jugular is because Ah Jin also lost interest in asking him for help. I mean, if I were her, I'd be pissed, too! Imagine having someone latch on you, but everytime you open your mouth, he starts judging everything you do. He doesn't deserve a good ending!
I really wanted to know why are people disappointed? The ending was so good. But you have to observe it. It's…
I feel like some wanted for Ah Jin to have a romance line. I mean the âmale leadâ died. But if that kind of male lead is the type who'd tried to do some noble idiocy of sacrificing them both to end everything, I wouldn't want her to end up with him. I think that's what half of the people want. Others prefer that she got arrested or dead. đ€·
Might hurt a lot of people but it must be said: Junseo's savior complex is his karma. I'm so glad he had his end. He's lined himself with Ah Jin's parents and bullies by coming for her. He never listened to anything Ah Jin says, but somehow thinks that he knows her well when he doesn't even get the pain she's suffering. Ah Jin was right in leaving him there. He tried to kill her like everyone wanted to. Ah Jin didn't have to do anything!
I don't give a shart about what anyone says, but I had to stop in the middle of episode 11 because Ah Jin crashing out at the church while Jae Oh told her the things he found out about her husband was well executed! She was so frustrated with everything and hates that she was being played with all the while reverting back to a childlike tantrum. You can see the craze and anger and disappointment in her eyes + the devastation and helplessness on Jae Oh's face because he doesn't know how to help her in breaking away from this shackle when she's holding tightly onto it.
Ah Jin's husband is clearly putting something in the tea that causes hallucinations and nightmares. To him, marriage…
This! It's no coincidence that the clock happened to land at the same hour she was tortured by her dad. He's spooking her out with her trauma, hoping she'd break like his ex-wife. I'm so glad that she's smart enough to see the signs very early.
Sunghee's really freaking stupid, damn. I applaud Rena because she actually knows when to stop coming for Ah Jin after what happened to her career and the CEO but does Sunghee think that she can defeat Ah Jin now that she's a chaebol's wife. She couldn't even beat her when they were in high school! I don't feel bad. She had it coming. She's lucky Ah Jin didn't do anything to her even when she barged inside her house. The last bit was just insane and that was her comeuppance.
Anyway, I feel like her husband is poisoning her brain with the tea to drive her insane, too. He's up to some nefarious shit. I just hope Jae Oh will be able to help her.
Ah Jin really got me on my knees, wow. The way she smiled while biting her lips when Mr. CEO told her about his…
Me being a raging heterosexual that does not give a fuck who she ends up with as long as she lands on top of everyone. She can't do any wrong in my eyes!
Ah Jin really got me on my knees, wow. The way she smiled while biting her lips when Mr. CEO told her about his âwedding giftâ. I know she's so satisfied that she got another stepping stone willing to give her everything she wants. If I was him in that situation, with her looking at me like that, I'd be laying down my life for her, too. T____T
Yeah. So, Ingang threw his pills and alcohol in the sink because he has no use of them anymore. He asked CEO Miri to give him one more day to mourn over his failed relationship because once the day ends, he's already too cold and dead to feel anything at all. Yay! (This is sarcasm, I just read this on Twitter and bawled my eyes out.) He really was showing signs of people committing the act. One day to be happy drinking with the person who cares for him, thank them for everything, and then end it all.
You will be missed In Gang. You didn't deserve what happened to you.
Many people assume that obsession or guilt drove Jun Seo's actions toward Ah Jin, but I see it differently. Obsession…
It's like, he's Stockholm Syndrome-d himself into being dependent on Ah Jin. I can't put my finger on it, but he's going nuts that Ah Jin knows how to function without him around and he hates it because he's losing control on how to save her while not being able to shoulder the hurt she's going through. Very weird dynamic but so very interesting.
really . I see it that way too . I donât understand why pple keep saying she is bad still . she was trying to…
Yeah. I have a theory that the feelings she had during the hospital scene was too overwhelming for her that she doesn't fully know how to process it. She's mostly familiar with anger, though, so that becomes twofold because she couldn't express it in a way a normal person like her would. She calls In Gang weak because she couldn't grieve properly. And I don't know. I feel like the line âwhy should I feel bad about others when I had to worry about myself?â she said to Junseo on episode 4 was a parallel to what she's going through now. She did ruin a family that would've welcomed her, so she probably understood what Junseo had warned her about for ages when it came to dragging innocent people into her schemes. Just tragic. Right family, wrong timing.
She was really aiming for that redemption arc. She wants to be good because there's finally an adult in her life that cherishes her. But the death became guilt. Now, she's truly a lost cause. She's probably projecting her thoughts on Ingang. She took away the one person they shared a love with. She wouldn't be able to face him after that accident so she had to break him in the worst way possible where he wouldn't even think to rationalize her motives and beg for her to stay. She allowed to be lynched by the media and Junseo because she thinks that that was her penance. But she's just full of anger now. Everything she wishes to have, she has to work hard for only to lose in the most traumatic way. Now, there's really no turning back for her.
Not to be that person who loves chaotic dynamic but whatever Jaeoh and Lena had going on at the latter half of episode 7 was funny as hell. I wonder if they'll touch upon that much more but for someone like her, Jaeoh's pretty much the type I see her with. Please, take this lightheartedly, I'm trying to cope about the fact that I'm about to see Ingang absolutely destroyed all the while scared for Ahjin because of Mr. Choi's sudden appearance.
Okay, now that I'm done ruminating on things. I do have a question:
When Junseo told Ah Jin that Jae Oh is there and she's seen smiling just by hearing his voice before turning to face him, was she happy to finally see him after a long time, or did she see this as a new opportunity to use him again because, again, just relying on Junseo is not enough for her?
I really want it to be the first one, but we're talking about Ah Jin here. There's always an ulterior motive, right...?
PS. Dan and Wanyin (ft Mr. Bei) are such a power couple! I love them so much! T___T
Well done! Well done!
Anyway, I feel like her husband is poisoning her brain with the tea to drive her insane, too. He's up to some nefarious shit. I just hope Jae Oh will be able to help her.
