I haven't started the drama yet. I will wait for more eps to come out. But i know some spoilers because of the…
In Gang's pretty much the media's darling. He's untouchable and Ah Jin needs that kind of power so she's planning to be on the same level as him by being with him.
I really thought In Gang would take a long time to fall into her trap, but really, she knows how to play cat and mouse with none the wiser. Do I feel bad about him? Probably. But his fate is sealed the second Ah Jin laid her eyes on him. (He shouldn't have taken her hand in that red carpet.)
I honestly think that her being sent to jail is a beat down for her. It's as if Life showed her what it would be like if she only relied on herself specially since the law can't seem to protect her even with her meticulous plans. So, with the agency seeking her out and realizing just how Rena could get off scots free with just one callโ something that Junseo would never be able to provide herโ it gave her the push to actually go further.
I heard the author didn't do that in the manhwa so I like that they did this addition to show that Ah Jin still wasn't safe from consequences of her actions. With how the justice system fails to protect the victims, it makes sense for her to be a suspect, too.
I absolutely love Mr. Choi, but I gotta give Ah Jin her 10s for pulling that stunt based on her luck. ๐คท She played everyone a fool and she was simply karma's favorite child. There's nothing left for me to do but to support her rights (and wrongs).
Okay, I loooooove the first three episodes. And I'm so happy that they're mostly focusing on the fights/training…
The one thing I find goofy in my recent watch is how far she fell from that cliff. I couldn't take the scene seriously because she was falling down HORIZONTALLY. T____T Couldn't they find a better cliff for that scene?
Okay, I loooooove the first three episodes. And I'm so happy that they're mostly focusing on the fights/training so far but I'm also impatient. Can someone tell me (those who are very updated), what episode does Xiao knows of He Yan's real gender? Spoiler tag on the reply just to be safe from others, thank you! >___<
Holy crap, the last two episodes were a banger and I'm actually surprised how there was a shift in genre the second Reina descended to absolute madness starting from the hospital down to the ferris wheel scene. I was actually terrified of her. It was like watching a horror/thriller movie. Also crazy to me that I felt so sad for Tomoya's death and how he had to wait for Wataru to be resurrected just to die in the end. Fate was really waiting for that substitute like it's Final Destination.
Either way, everything was perfect! A masterpiece! I love it!
Also, just my thoughts on why Sumiyoshi had Misa's original fate: the fact that Misa missed the part where Tomoya…
Yes, Reina did in fact get married to him, however, for Reina to fully become Misa's substitute, there has to be another person that would be with him. Since Misa has no one to do that for her (to act as the new Reina), this situation got passed into Sumiyoshi instead.
The same thing happened in the K-Drama. Jiwon had to become Minhwan's โmistressโ for a short time, but with Yura entering the picture and Sumin catching them (Yura and Minhwan) in the act, Jiwon was finally able to get away from that fate's design.
I highly doubt Misa would try to act as Tomoya's mistress though.
Also, just my thoughts on why Sumiyoshi had Misa's original fate: the fact that Misa missed the part where Tomoya has to cheat is what sent that fate to Sumiyoshi's husband.
What just happened? What is Wataru thinking? I can't believe they ended it in that cliffhanger without any explanation of what he's planning to do! I need to know what's going on!
Also, the quiet moment where Tomoya's mom mentioned Misa's mom and she just stared her down like she wants to hurl something at the old ladyโ only to say the word that would set her off. That's power she's taking back. Misa really is the THE BAMF Female Lead.
By the way, the stage scene! Perfect. Reina tried to put Misa down in joining the drama department out of insecurity and jealousy, but here she is, acting her heart out as a betrayed ex-fiancee. She really is a force to reckoned with and outside of Wataru and her, everyone believes what she wants them to see. Ugh, I love it.
THE ENDING OF EPISODE 5. THIS IS A MAN WHO YEARNS RESPECTFULLY. I WANT SOMEONE LIKE HIM. I NEED HIM.
PS. I love the flashback so much. From meeting her dad. The part where he showed him the picture. Literal goosebumps. And the ash stealing scene. Ugh. A man on a mission the second he figured out everything else. Chef's kiss.
Holly shit,Someone notice that Wataru was there when Misa out from hospitalhttps://x.com/raddishsays/status/1941383952469750065?t=IIyB7_bA1rdW7n8cMvwf8w&s=19
You know, Misa thinking he was a stalker in that one monologue isn't that far off. LMFAO
I really enjoyed the webtoon and the Korean version and I like this one as well. Itโs less comedy vibe than…
I actually like the wardrobe choices they have here. Considering that the FL is known to spend wisely, the fact that she stops herself from buying expensive clothes for her new look is realistic. You don't just drop that much money just to show that you're a changed person. Going to a thrift store is much better because not only do you have a wide selection of clothes that are secondhand, they're much cheaper and the chances of you finding branded clothes for almost quarter the prize is smarter way to go about it. (Also, we need to remember that they're in 2015. Some fashion choices are questionable around those times.)
Also, Esaka's actress knows how to make facial expression the way Sumin's actress did on the kr version. They're so good at their portrayals of wolf's in sheep's clothing. I love it!
